It’s amazing how much players performances differ when they change where they come out to bat.
Labuschagne is still coming out too the new ball with how poorly Harris has played yet when he starts there he plays worse…from the stats you’ve shown me.

For a lot of players it routine, they have their set ways and when it’s disrupted they don’t get a similar result. Bulls had player that opened and would sometimes move down the order- players hated it, he was so nervous at five it made everyone else sitting there fail/nervous too. He was better going first-for him and everyone else.

If that was the Gabba I wouldn`t worry .
I have been there in a tropical storm at sundown and the game recommenced a cpl of hours later .

Hobart - how is their drainage ?

I don't know but I wouldn't be surprised. It is bucketing down in Melbourne and it seems to be coming from south.
England will somehow escape this disaster of a tour 3-0 now haha

I wouldn't be surprised if it is 3-1 just quietly.
Yeah Hobart could be anything at this stage....
- a possible green wicket (although pictures of pitches days earlier can be misleading)
- rain / overcast conditions
- day / night test with pink ball
- dead rubber at the end of a long series... mentality may have dropped.

Par could be 200, but if you get one good day with the bat you might get 250 runs in a day and be sorted for the rest of the test.

Hell one good innings from a batsmen could decide the test if wickets are falling all around them.

A quick fire Dave Warner 80 or 100 could be a deciding factor in the test

These conditions should really suit England.

In other news, Kohli doing Kholi things and maintaining the petulance.

It's really immature from India, a very horrible look from the whole team. It's highly unsportsmanlike and not a good example at all for the younger ones. Virat Kohli needs a wedgie
