I don't know the situation with the Sunshine Coast QLD cup team but there will be some serious discussions had in the future, Redcliffe would love to have that club as one of their feeders

They have a deal with CQ, if that ends up involving players I’m sceptical would make no sense to have another feeder at SC.

It's very obvious they want to take control of North Brisbane, part of that would surely entail having control of the Sunshine Coast.

If it was purely about Redcliffe representing Redcliffe with no intention on expanding to cover the northern part of Brisbane, they'd have called themselves "Redcliffe".

You can recruit and have a strong presence in an area without a feeder. No one has a deal with the Jets yet Ipswich players are everywhere.

Look at Gold Coast and Broncos. Broncos recruit from the Gold Coast without the Bears or Tweed.

The Falcons are a tiny part of that which the Dolphins don’t need. They need the juniors and the players but they don’t need the Falcons.

The Storm need the Falcons and the area.

The Dolphins can drive to Caloundra today and sign 36 players today.

Dolphins can set up an academy on the coast, have DO there chasing Bunn and have deals with local clubs and schools but they don’t need the Falcons or a feeder.

Feeder is just housing they need all the stuff around it that’s how you move in an area.

Concerning you can't see an advantage really.

To stop others getting access? It's fairly simple in terms of both business and competition to make sure the other lot stay away too.

It's not about need. As if the Broncos 'needed' to move into Logan as hard as they did when the Raiders fucked off. If they didn't, some other team would be taking the talent.

But again you can do all that without a ISC team.
