Really liking the changes - like everybody I'm curious to see how TMM goes at 1 and would preferred to see Herbie get a run.

Definitely liking Gamble in 6 for the mongrel and liking the Paix / Billy 9 rotation.

Should see plenty of points scored when it's 12 v 12 after Fleger and TPJ both get sent off.

Ok I know Palasia had an ugly 30 seconds last game but he isn’t really an error prone or Ill disciplined as a middle. Bit harsh there. However Kennedy is fucking hopeless. Like we are talking about a bloke that has genuine go forward and gets metres but just everything he does turns to shit just about. With Flegs, love the bloke, hate the player. He probably has the rest of the year to convince us we shouldn’t cut him loose come the end.

Yeah. Love Jensen’s inclusion since chooks game. I think he should have been in the side all along. He actually plays well, has game awareness, is reliable and consistent. He is experienced in the sense that he has seen a lot and been around for a while and really with the amount of games he has up his sleeve and the role he has in our team it’s all he needs. Great inclusion, loving him and Palasia at the moment. No frills get the job done players that are consistent, reliable and cheap. Need more of those players in our side and squad for us to win games and start playing footy in September.

There are a number of things that I think theoretically, this side is attempting to do.

Reynolds and gamble generally prefer that first receiver role. Having TMM at fullback enables him to play that traditional 6 (second receiver) role.

Hass, Jensen, palasia and Kennedy have pretty quick play the balls so I would be telling corey and Billy that if there is a quick play the ball or only one marker go for a run. Flegler can get quick play the balls but often thinks his job is over after he is tackled.

Like souths have done with cook and Murray, I would identify our players with a quick play the ball and use them as a set up for a dummy half run or backline movement.

I'd love to know what Kev has seen from TMM's games in cup to suggest he's going to be a success at the back. There must be some sort of plan to have Cobbo or Herbie in defence, TMM in attack. Burton will absolutely slaughter TMM with his bombs IMO.
