Pretty impressive debut in his understated way.

Played 45 minutes and the thing that impressed me was two things.

He didn’t rush. Just potted around the field, got into first receiver and a few sets just stood back and let other players go to dummy half then in good ball areas gets in and sets up a try.

Very enthusiastic and around the boys. He was sick all week with the flu and to debut against a physical team and contributing was a good start.

He is ok, just needed a breather on the wing. First time he’s played 40 minutes!

Piakura good hole running off Ahearn last night. His attack is really starting to come good. That's his best feature in attack- hole running off the half on the right.

I'd say no, too big an ask but he wasn't supposed to get through 40 minutes and the flu yesterday and he did.
