Carrigan is an absolute beast of a player and definitely someone we need to keep. He is definitely the future captain of this club and will lead us for our near future premiership.

I wasn't sure if anyone else noticed that. I was very surprised to see him doing the talking at half time but it makes sense now having seen him mic'd up.

NSW saw him talking in Origin and mic'd him up in the hopes of learning our gameplan. ;)

I really liked it and was impressed but I do wonder how much was put on for the camera/mic. Im no body language expert but he did seem to get a few funny looks when he told the boys to come in and told them what to do haha

Don’t think it was put on. Halftime in origin he was doing the talking to the team and Billy was just looking at him so he has a fair bit to say. I was amused when I saw a novice laying it down to the Qld team.

I have no doubt about that, Carrigan is one of the best players Broncos have, the second he makes origin they win to start their new dynasty.

I have full confidence in our new management to take care of players.

My two favourite Carrigan things from the last five years in NYC, ISC and NRL involve his work ethic and leadership.

He won a lot of of awards in 2017 for the Broncos NYC team and deserved a night out after the thing had finished but he'd given his word he'd work the next morning at the markets- he was there at 5am like he promised.

2018 Under 20 Hodges said at the start of camp no idea who will be captain- let's see how the week goes and I will announce it later.

By day two he said it's Carrigan.

Carrigan didn't even think he was in the running, I think the popular idea was Tino or Grant but Carrigan was captain and did a great job. At the end of the game he spoke about the Blues and the Camp and the Queensland team and the staff and he remembered everyone- it was small amongst a lot of things that week but the speech at the end won me over.
