He talks a lot and doesn't mind giving players a little spray if they aren't doing their job.

That was great to watch... does not shut up, which is exactly what you want to see.

Dragging the other forwards with him knowing that at that point in the game they would've been hurting and fatiguing but needing to hang on with all the injuries happening around him.

Has some smarts about him as well to really lead our forward pack in defence and attack.

What a fucking legend of a player... have we signed him up for 10yrs yet!!

The amount of footy smarts is only equaled by the Herculean physical effort he puts in while constantly marshalling and motivating the pack. Great leaders lead by example Paddy has this in spades.

A little detail I noticed .
Twice Ezra added his weight behind Patty to stop him being pushed backwards . Once when Pat was on our goal line and was in danger of behind forced back in goal for a 6 again . Kind of 1 %er that most folks don`t appreciate .

I loved hearing Patty say "run him back ."
Him and Flegs driving blokes over and backwards . Ouch !

This is exactly what I was worried about......listening to the playback, and finding something that makes me think he's a wanker

It looked a bit like that at some points, but thats how he talks in a game anyway. I doubt under fatigue they would be remembering to put that on.

I wasn't sure if anyone else noticed that. I was very surprised to see him doing the talking at half time but it makes sense now having seen him mic'd up.
