RE Tesi Nui

Recovered well from a few errors early on. In the end a couple of game changing moments from him and he certainly played a starring role in the victory.

Those early errors were so Isucko like though....... :depressedtonguething:

Nothing has made me change my mind that he is simply Isucko 2.0. He's a roller coaster.

Rubbish. He did nothing of the sort. His hitups were slow, his pub's average and he made his tackles, very very average performance but you think it's stellar ONLY because it was better than his absolute garbage normal contribution. Don't give a **** that KW sucks him off every chance he gets, he was just okay and nothing else. 74 metres in 40 minutes is very very poor.
That is unfortunate.

Stolen from a reddit post, the Broncos Unavailable XIII (Paix in on a technicality due to playing about 2 minutes). A lack of speed in the centres, but otherwise a solid team.

1. Farnworth
2. Oates
3. Robati
4. Capewell
5. Cobbo
6. Martin
7. Kelly
8. Haas
9. Paix*
10. Jensen
11. Piakura
12. Flegler
13. Carrigan
There were a few times yesterday arvo where someone made a half break down the left and had no support outside him.....could just be clunky because basically the whole edge was new, but man so many bombed opportunities.

'twas the sweetest of victories.....
I especially love beating st. merge

RE Ryan James

Played his best game in a Broncos jersey yesterday....IMHO.

That said, the bar is set pretty low for him. He should probably hang up the boots next year.
emulated the last 12 months of Alex Glenn - the "good" games were good by his standard, but not NRL standard. James was cut down by halves practically on the spot of first contact, did a lot of running sideways to shuffle the ball wide because Kev knew he would be useless as a battering ram. He was better in defence but he's well, well past it. Against a more competent attack, he would have been shown up hard.

Let's not delude ourselves, the Dragons were freaking horrible without Hunt yesterday. Let's take the two points, get our proper forwards back and be happy with that and R James annoucing his retirement very soon hopefully.

You misinterpreted my post. Neither of those players pulled the shit Haas did, not even close.
I seem to recall a few fans being disgruntled when Lazarus left.

Relevance?
Training fulltime would certainly help his strength.

Willison needs another off season in the gym .
He`s willing but still has a kid`s body .

You were talkin Hoskins needing more training .
I related it to Willison needing time to develop strength . To stop from being bent back in tackles .

That would be a little hypocritical of Lazzo who left Brisbane to be the Storm's inaugural captain. Not to mention him being headhunted by former Broncos teammate Chris Johns. Or Gilly, who left to the Panthers. You can spot them in the background here:

Stick to twitter son.

Lazo smashed his leg into a million pieces in England and never played again for the Broncos, his contract was done and with Webcke and Petero the Broncos and News were happy for Lazo to move along to Melbourne and pad out their roster.

Gilly didn't want to go, Ribot/Bennett moved him on. Alf even offered to take a pay cut to keep him but again they took the year early better than a year late route.

At the time Bennett didn’t pay props shit. Can’t blame old lazo for taking a payday.

Lazo was on his SL money he was at the top with Alf, Stuart, Clyde and Daley.

I was just explaining why people were observing Hosking may not be as strong as normal.

I didn't understand your reply. Sorry.

I remember Hoskins from a trial , he has good cardio . Lots of involvement .

Good solid debut .

Don't disagree with this at all. However...

If he's close to minimum price contract, I wouldn't mind either. He's apparently great around the club in general. And if we get stuck short for one or two games like yesterday, he can do a job for you.

I did consider his off field value and you are right, its worth something. I've read similar things about how he's a great club man.
Perhaps a staff job...... training....player management....etc etc. 100K?
