Glad I’ve missed the last 2 games. But fark me, if I didn’t already drink too much these Keith’s would have.

Something has been rotten since Origin.

Hurts to see Oatsey in the state he’s been the last few games. If you can’t pull your finger out and put in then bye Felecia

Riki's been average all year bar one or two games. The fact that we can only point to him being solid defensively is not something to hang your hat on. He makes multiple errors every game and contributes little in attack.

Capewell has been poor defensively all year too and hasn't added a great deal in attack, though he has been better than Riki, not that that says much.

Corey Oates on the dressing room spray:
“What ‘Kevvie’ said ("have some fucking heart") is the truth, that’s all it is. He was truthful. He said, ‘Have some heart, have some fight, have some belief. Don’t throw away all the hard work we have done’. That was it. There was just a lot more anger and other words behind what he said. He is passionate and that’s what we need as a group, we need to be passionate and for this to mean something."
“The Broncos mean a lot to Kevvie. We all know that. Everyone here is hurting. We need to take it to training next week. It honestly hurts. It’s not a good feeling, but we have to take this anger into the game next week.”
“It’s tough, but we have to come together as a team. We can’t look at the results this week. We need a few to go our way but we need to focus on putting in a good performance and that’s all we can do. Everyone wants to see a bit of heart and a bit of fight from us. It’s been a pretty tough few weeks for us, we’ve put up some pretty poor performances and it’s tough to accept. We have worked so hard all year and we can still make the finals."
“It’s a long season and a brutal game, but the best teams are the ones who lift at the end of the year and at the moment we are struggling in that area. We’ve faced two quality teams the past two weeks and they have shown how much class they are above us at the moment.”

Fatty:
“Kevvie was going off in the sheds ... the Broncos are broken. I’m not saying there was give-up in them, but they are awful at the moment. I can’t see them possibly beating the Dragons down there next week.”

You can’t give up if you never even started Fatty 😒

I’ve been at some Melbourne stirm pastings over the years, but last night was the worst game I’ve been to live. I don’t know what it was but there was something really disgust about the game, the effort, the game plan, the attitude. I’m still annoyed.

Well, I think the Melbourne game was worse. Obviously it was, we conceded 60, but I mean the way the game unfolded. Reynolds off, Flegler to hospital, the repeat sets getting caught by their winger. You could say there were reasons for last nights capitulation more so than in the Melbourne game.

I like Oates, and Kevvie, but we have heard all this shit before.
After every fucking flogging its the same fan service nonsense time and time again, only to turn around and get another 50 put on them.

I dont care what they say anymore.
After getting flogged by 50 the week after getting flogged by 60, all the talk in the world means nothing.
I dont want to hear another thing out of their mouths.
I just want to see results.

When you say "solid defensively" what you're actually saying is only one other second rower (Josh Jackson) has made more tackles than Riki this season. And, of course, he's made more tackles than any other Bronco.

As for errors, he's made 19 in 22 games, that's less than 1 per game. By way of comparison, Selwyn has made 36 in 17 games. (redacted due to hissy fits).

How does his errors compare to other forwards? How often does he miss tackles?

I know he is not really popular on here right now, but i have liked Riki ever since i saw him in an interview about how pumped he was to play for the Broncos.

I loved the kids enthusiasm and hope he keeps on improving.

We know he has a great work rate. But lacks some of the finesse and attacking skills of other high quality second rowers. Thoughts on how he would go in the middle of the bench? I’ve thought for a while that it would showcase the benefits of his work rate. And would allow him to still offer some support play through the middle.
