It’s interesting, as this performance/ attitude problem has been around for many years and over many coaches and administrations.
Nothing will change until we get to the bottom of this cancer. No one seems able to clearly identify WTF is wrong over all this time.
Maybe a new experienced face like Reynolds can finally pin point the underlying problem.
We keep changing coaches, move on so called trouble makers ( only to see them settle in no probs. at other clubs) We bring in new management but still the cancer reappears.
Somehow we need to find the root cause or we spend another decade in the “ frustrating wilderness “

Capewell has not been up to standard lately .
Bad decisions in defence[taking the wrong man ] getting caught in the middle and leaving his edge short of numbers . Missing tackles , ineffective tackles . Very little impact with the ball . And not getting his edge organised .

He has gone down hill of late .

Has to make even more tackles because Reynolds rushes up trying to get the ball players to turn in but more often doesn`t make any tackle . Needs to offer more in attack . His scrambling defence is good .
I gave him a pass for a few weeks when he had sore ribs and ran like a sloth . Needs to lift now.

I didn`t like the look of the spray he gave Billy for passing the ball to him when he wasn`t ready .

Reynolds could actually teach a few of his team mates dominant tackling . When he does make tackles he has very high aggression and dominates men a lot bigger than him . His wrestle is impressive for a little guy .

Have you noticed the things I pointed out in most of if not every game this season? Barring the magic round and a odd 40min here & there, I don’t reckon our boys performing full 80min. It surely are the 17 players that perform on the field but it’s certainly Kevs job to make sure to turn the team into a 80min playing group. He outrightly needs better supporting staff around him for his own good. If not sorted this for him asap, by round 10 next season, he would be deadman walking then the club and us fans will again go through the never ending sorting the coach saga.

Yeah I know, sorry mate didn't mean to sound condescending, was just cranky. I think it's been a successful season regardless of missing the finals. The last 5 weeks are a concern but we can't go from trash to diamonds. Have seen some good progress this year with double the wins from last year.

TBH....I think Capewell is a very average player, who has made the most of his opportunities with what little talent he has.
