NEWS Dodgy Deal: Broncos accused of deception by Schoolboys captain

@Super Freak .......assuming you'll now move all those posts talking about this topic from the other thread ......where its currently being discussed
...to here?

So let's say hypothetically speaking that this kid is making stuff up now, surely the Broncs would have potential grounds to sue here for defamation.

Conversely, if what he is saying is true, it would mean the club's stance of holding him to his contract carries no weight whatsoever and if it went to court, you'd think it would be ruled in this kid's favour quickly.

Why does this sort of thing only seem to happen to us when it comes to contracts?

Surely if they have lost the contract there is literally no contract. Which means the kid is free to do as he pleases.

That is, if the only document the Broncos had his signature on has been lost and they cannot produce it then there is no contract.

Big body that runs and passes, thinks quick and moves quick. Good defender. Queensland had Gray as captain and 6 so had to get him in at 13 so he can mix it up. Runs like a lock but passes like a 6.

Nothing like Reynolds.
Sounds like a positional change is the best option then.

The article quoted his agent, Matt Anderson saying literally this:

"I'm disappointed that this can occur to a young Samoan kid at the age of 17 - without any legal advice,"
Literally says on his Instagram that he’s from Wellington

Next thing you'll be denying Jordan Riki's indigenous heritage.

Maybe Matt is poor at Geography I don't know but he was born in New Zealand.

Imagine arguing with someone about where they were born.
Or whether they're a woman.

I'm getting the feeling you will never admit when you're so obviously wrong.

FYI: he played for both Queensland Samoan U14 and Queensland Maori U14 as a junior.

Yup, so true. This sort of shit should never happen especially to us but in the contrary, it keeps happening & no one seems to lay the law at the club which is ridiculous. No one’s bigger than the club.
Kev had heaps on his plate to learn to become a coach.

I find it hard to believe we would of told a 17 year old he will be a top 30 player, let alone a 6.

They could go after his teddy bear.
