Cobbo dropping that try.. fmd.

Should have been the go-ahead try to consolidate the game.

I said before the game that the Dolphins would hang tough and put us in a position where we could beat ourselves.. and we certainly almost did.

It was sloppy (my god Cobbo is an absolute liability) and we blew some serious chances BUT we were also fired up, switched on and matched the energy and intensity of the very tough and passionate Dolphins team. I feel like this is a game we get rolled in previous years, as the other team just wants it more. Not so tonight, we wanted it just as much and the dolphins wanted it BAD.

take it for what it is - a satisfying win over a local rival. I’d consider giving Mam and Walsh a game off over the next few weeks if they need it - looking pretty busted, especially Ezra… we have the flexibility now being on top of the table with some easier games. It’s a long season and premierships aren’t won in March / April.

This is OUR city.

Had kaufusi played I think it would have been a different Dolphins turning up tonight. I thought it was an ugly win, but nonetheless glad to get it. Kev needs to drill these blokes into passing the ball, what's with this continuous one off running? Arthurs has Ezra inside, and backed himself, instead of passing, and we bombed that try. Backing up, draw and passing to a support player, shouldn't be optional. I was actually blowing up on a few occasions watching this. We should have put the flippers away much earlier, so frustrating to watch, but still anyway a refreshing 4/4 start to our season. A very big work in progress still, hope we're actually working on improving our performances, not falling into old bad habits. Some good scrambling defence again tonight, but sometimes a clunky go forward. Walsh in the backline is a weapon, and when we can finesse our running game, I'll be happier. Oh.. and suck on that Milford.

Props goes to the master coach Bennett who built a team from scratch with mostly 2nd tier players that came within a whisker of winning tonight's game. On top of that he's missing key players (Katoa, Kafusi) and a few injured players during the game (O'Sullivan, Niu, Nikorima). Monumental effort.
Although Broncos won, Walters was out-coached by the master.

Was just brilliant to see Kotoni so pumped, so proud, and so very passionate about being a Bronco. Should be more of it.

Everything else has already been said by others .. but the other highlight for me was watching Marty on the sideline riding Kotoni all the way home. So good!

Cobbo reminds me of a new recruit, it’s never his fault……the thing is, in my world it it is, and you Have to own up to it…..it’s all there.

literally Inglis level talent.
He just has not been the same player since he was knocked out cold in Origin.

And I agree with your Inglis comment.

I had to laugh when he threw that Dolphin player over the sideline with such gusto lol. He knows all about that play - being on the recieving end mostly.

In fairness I think Cobbo was only bustled over the sideline once tonight so that's an improvment. But yeah not contesting that high ball AT ALL was criminal. He is a very relaxed lad.

🤷🏼‍♂️. Not sure, anything is possible. Certainly don’t mean it disrespectfully if he is, he just looks spaced out at times.
Compare both the man, and his mannerisms, and the player before and after he was knocked out in Origin. I think that's where the answer lays.

Good win. At the same I reckon it’s important not to lose sight of the fact they wee without Kaufusi, Katoa, JM-King, Ese’Ese, and SOS for half the game and Niu a complete passenger (admire his courage).

I am nowhere near convinced about our chances for top 4
until we come up against a full strength top 4 side.

It was very humid tonight. Playing a game of footy in this humidity, there's a lot more sweat, the ball gets slippery. Especially being a high intensity game, fatigue kicks in quicker.

Good teams know how to win ugly and that's exactly what we did.

This is why the Kotoni celebration was the best….😂😂😂 He knows who’s home it really is. He’s flushed that jersey down the toilet since…

Or those same numptys are still pissed that he stole $4M from us? You know, by accepting the $$$ and giving **** all in return.

People have been getting stuck into Kotoni Staggs for a while now, shit Milford was 10 times worse and on more, at least Kotoni gets his body in front
