POST GAME POST GAME [Round 4, 2023] Broncos vs Dolphins

People have been getting stuck into Kotoni Staggs for a while now, shit Milford was 10 times worse and on more, at least Kotoni gets his body in front
Agree… Milford is x10 a bigger pretender than Kotoni.

He's picking up his workrate now which is great... 16 runs for +200m tonight... 14 runs last week for 150m .. 3 tries last two weeks... and still solid as **** in defence

Props goes to the master coach Bennett who built a team from scratch with mostly 2nd tier players that came within a whisker of winning tonight's game. On top of that he's missing key players (Katoa, Kafusi) and a few injured players during the game (O'Sullivan, Niu, Nikorima). Monumental effort.
Although Broncos won, Walters was out-coached by the master.
No no no!!😡

When we had our terrible patch of luck with players falling left, right and centre, nobody said “Poor Broncos. We understand that you can only fill a reserve side.” We got absolutely shat on because we were “the Broncos” and apparently had coffers of (illegal) cash to pay all the top talent any position (like the Rorters).

So now when it’s on the other foot I say $#^& them. We didn’t get any special treatment so neither do you. Welcome to the harsh world of NRL Phins (stupid name BTW).

Can’t agree. We were sloppy, as a team, and individually, but still won. However, on our performance tonight, I reckon if they had their full strengths side tonight, they win.

I don't think the Dolphins fans can expect a whole lot more than gritty performances like they've shown so far, interesting to see how they go with a few big outs moving forward

Good win. At the same I reckon it’s important not to lose sight of the fact they wee without Kaufusi, Katoa, JM-King, Ese’Ese, and SOS for half the game and Niu a complete passenger (admire his courage).

I am nowhere near convinced about our chances for top 4
until we come up against a full strength top 4 side.

You mean like the Panthers ...

I forget, what happened in that game?

That is not a fair comparison. They were playing their first game without API and Kilau amongst others. They looked lost and disorganized, and yet they went down by 1. Good effort for mine, and from now on, for mine, they remain the team to beat

We were also lucky Luke was on for a short time. As soon as he came out, their game went up a notch. He’s a bloody good hooker.
