POST GAME Preliminary Final: Broncos vs Warriors

Jessy Arthur's
first dates tongue out GIF by COCO Television

Thought Jessy Arthur's had a great game. Peppered all night under a heap of pressure. One drop but didn't let that bother him. Made plenty of tough carries too.
I think this is one of the biggest turn arounds in the club since the spoon.

3 seasons ago, players made errors, their heads dropped, and their confidence crumbled, and the score would blow out against us.

Now-days there is a different mindset that stops that from happening.
Players can make errors and it doesn't bust their confidence, they brush themselves off, get up and go again.
Its bloody awesome.

That was evident with Arthars after that dropped ball tonight, and also with Walsh in most of his games this year.

Patty and Reece in the post-match interviews acknowledged that they can't play the same way against the Panthers next week.

So, hopefully that focus is there and we're much more clinical and smarter with our play. Penrith will absolutely punish any mistakes we make, or take advantage of even the smallest opportunity. They are a ruthless team. Our concentration level needs to be 100% for the full 80 minutes.

Thing is, we need to attack the shit out of the Panthers. We aren't breaking their line looking to hold the ball and complete sets. Need to play some footy against those fuckers to have any chance.

Agree, our erraticism is a massive weapon. Defensive line can't rest because they have no idea what's happening next play, just that it'll be at 100mph whatever it is.

We will make mistakes but it's the reason we rack up points. If we try and play conservatively next week we're going away from everything that's worked for us this year.

If we play the way we played tonight or a fortnight ago, we will beat Penrith.

Not only our erraticism but our eroticism, shit we are hot

Walsh just doesn’t let anything drag him down. That intercept pass led to another try but he just pops back up like a Jack in the box….. incredible talent incredible big game player.

DWZ was racing up looking for another after that and they beat them down that side a few times. He didn't just recover, he exploited it.

Our attack from outside the 20 is what will win the game for us against Penrith.

We have far and away the best long range attack in the comp, with almost every other team scoring the majority of their tries inside the attacking 20.

Penrith have built their defensive structure around this kind of attack, and our speed and strike from 50 out will **** with them.

We are the anomaly in the comp this year, and it shows in our attack every game.
Its also a brutally tiring form of footy to defend against, with lots of ball movement and chasing the attacking play.

I kept thinking we were just the fitter team all year, with dominant second halves, but i think our long range attack fatigues teams faster than set defensive lines inside the 20.

Add to this one Payne fucken Haas and Reece Walsh with an abundance of talent all around them, being led by one of the smartest halves in footy and we are going to bust Penrith.

Cant wait!

Walsh says that after every game then plays exactly the same the next week and wins again

kevie playing dumb on the offloads. you dont offload that much if there wasnt some sort of plan during the game. think hes trying to keep penrith guessing

His response to the offloading question was brilliant

"We're not a noted offloading team."
*Looks at Adam Reynolds*
"Are we?"

Reyno just shakes his head and says nah 😅

I did laugh at that considering I'm pretty sure we are top 3.

Patty has something like 35 offloads himself
