Payten surely doesn’t even survive the off season. He’s a gonner. Who replaces him will be interesting.

Like someone else has said regarding Flanagan, he has no worries throwing players under the bus no matter how pressure they’re feeling, except if it’s his son then he’ll back him ofcourse. I can’t rate his coaching style because his blind loyalty for his son is ridiculous. Cobbo can struggle sometimes and I think Flanagan wouldn’t even flinch to throw him to the wolves. I remember very early on this season he threw Illias under the bus in the presser which was absolutely poor form by him and ofcourse tried to apologise later. From then on, I knew this man has no idea.

The reality is, we've needed to shed some hookers and Mozer is the future and while younger, Bukowski looks great as well. We have Hunt to fill in as a pretty handy stop gap next year and if we lose Billy on top of Smoothy, we just extend Paix. Paix has already shown that he doesn't want to leave, so he will be very cheap.

Yes it doesn't really give us a utility like Billy is but we also have Black who looks like he might need to start getting some games next year anyway, he looked like he has levelled up in the under 19 origin - that was a cracking game and he looked like a mini-Reynolds out there until he got taken off with a HIA. He could potentially fill in as a 14 or utility as needed anyway.

And while he hasn't done it in a long time, Paix can play in the halves if we get REALLY desperate.

The biggest compliment I can make is it seemed clear how disjointed we became when Coby went off. His kicking was elite all game and he read the play so quickly repeatedly.

On the flip side, he made a horror defensive error that led to a try, so he clearly isn't ready quite yet but who knows in 6 months from now.

100% re Kev taking him to his next coaching gig, just cut that string now. Don't know if he'd head to the SL though, might be a little late for that.

A mutual acquaintance of mine is best friends with Toddy's wife. Have been watching her FB page with interest, no hints so far unfortunately.

A few things:
- no love letter from Ben or Fletcher, so I am offended.
- they didn't skimp out on the packaging. Expensive matte cardboard, and a thick glass bottle with an actual metal lid. I was the stingy one and only bought 10ml because I couldn't justify giving Fletcher $70. For the 10ml I expected it to come in a plastic piece of junk.
- I've just hit my wrists and DéCoLLeTaGe with it and can confirm that it does smell objectively nice & different, albeit very feminine and too full on, and not CITRUSY as claimed. I smell like I've been fingered by a bunch of star jasmine and I am not ok with it. But you might be ok with that Mr Angus rib. They didn't lie - 'each spritz has unveiled layers of juicy richness'.
- The scent has developed in the time that I've taken to type this and I now smell like a complete slut. Apparently Cleopatra was an 'overly ambitious, hedonistic seductress'....

Might make this a theme. Any new player we sign I will buy something from their side hustle.
