Yep, and so are all our options at 6.

Lockyer is suggesting Billy as the sensible selection, and he can barely run 10 metres. We have to find some threat in attack other than Walsh.

Ideally, we leave 9 and 14 alone, because neither are broken as is, and find fresh replacements for both 6 and 7. Not happening, I know, but one can dream.

This one fella named Munster , another named Papenhausen they had minor roles in their win .

I'm not sure where I got Lisati from, Wishart was the tackled player and it was a harsh penalty. Tui wins the ruck and Papenhuyzen immediately attacks behind the ruck, offloads to Grant who finds Munster who turns it back into Wishart. Wishart runs at Billy, Billy throws him to ground, it appears he breaks out of the tackle so Haas comes in and lays a hand on him and is immediately pinged for working on the ground.

35:10 (or 4:50) for those looking for it. It's the type of call that won't get scrutinised, but it was a huge moment in the context of the game.

Payne tried to slow the PTB . He did more than lay a hand on him .
Looked to me like he wanted a penalty rather than a fast PTB .

The reality is we are unlikely to ever win down at AAMI park and the club should plan load management accordingly for these games. I’m sure there’s some art of war reference.

You might be thinking of the Meaney penalty that happens later on. That's where Haas comes in a second after held and makes sure to get Meaney to ground.

The Wishart tackle, Tyran looks like he's bust out of Walters' tackle when Haas places a hand on him.

That would mean we would have to forfeit every game at Aami Park.
I am sure that would be a breach of our licensing agreement with the NRL.

The other option would be to just run a reggies side in those games but I don't think that would fly with the NRL either.

We could forfeit the entirety of 2026 and put the money we save towards rigging the cap for 2027.

Well at least that would guarantee Reynolds would get through the season which at the moment I have serious doubts he will play a full season next year.

There is a maximum and minimum for the salary cap .
You can miss the max by maybe 5 % and add that next year .
