Cheering? No. Indifferent? yes.

I said a few weeks ago it was lonely hill, it's not lonely anymore. You're the only **** on it.

You were wrong, he has been just as good if not better under Madge and rightfully earned his spot. To suggest otherwise just proves you aren't capable of accepting that you were wrong.

Except I must have said at least half a dozen times I'm fine with his form this year, making you wrong. It's his previous 4 years of employment with us I have a problem with his form and place in the team.

Well we're one game away from the GF again two years later, decimated by injuries so one would assume for those who were in both sides, it is more than just a purple patch.

But hey, clearly nothing is going to change minds with this so meh, it is what it is.

Our whole team was imo. Would not single him out there.,whole team went through a purple patch.

Oh but you're happy to discredit Billy as an individual for the 2 years prior? Not the team or anything like that.

That's a nifty strategy you've got there.

Nobody else in the team had their dad as coach?! What was I supposed to do?

He was one of our best leading into the finals in '23.

So Walters was only good during our run in 2023 as well as in our run of wins this year? He must be our most influential and dominant player for everything to revolve around him!

I know exactly what comes next from his biggest dickriders too.

If we win the gf it will be all thanks to Billy.

If we don't win it the only reason will be because Billy got injured.
Have you ever said you're wrong before?

It's honestly not that hard.

I think i said something a few weeks ago like "if Walters does his job well as a 6, Walsh will be getting MOM". That seems to be panning out because Billy has been really good and Walsh has gone to another level.
It's starts to paint a picture of a Less involved spine and giving Reece more ball equals results, he is basically a Half and Fullback in one at the highest level.

No he wasn't. He was only scraping it into the team.

He's really only found his feet since Madge put him back to 14 this season, and then patched him in at 6 when Mam got injured. It's worked because Madge figured out a limited role for him.

Billy's recent strength has been to recognize defensive weakness in the last twenty, and direct ball to exploit it. It's won us games, and he's earned his accolades in that role.

Whether you credit smart coaching or Billy's accumulated experience as a senior player, it's been working. But Walsh has been the difference.

And before you launch into hyperbole, which other teams would want to poach Billy, on full salary halves' money, to start at 6?

Just waiting for Phil Rothfield to enter the discussion at this stage, all the deflecting going on in a desperate attempt to save a bit of face.

Jeez, the goal posts really have moved. It used to be "Which teams would sign him to play hooker". Now we are discussing which teams would sign him in the position he's filling in at?

Well yes, of course, he's getting hyperbolic accolades in that position. Read the comments.

He's getting the accolades he deserves. Watch the games.
So if he's the "greatest of all time" and "the difference" which other clubs would take him at 6 over their current 6?

Speaking of hyperbole. He's not our full time 6 and every single person here knows that. Have you watched him play recently? He's been absolutely killing it and involved in plenty of try scoring and try stopping plays. Even on one leg.

You're asking a stupid question, which isn't surprising. But I also feel like you don't watch rugby league and wait for Buzz or Moley or some dork who has never played the sport to tell you what you should think first.
