I’m team Oates to wing and cobbo to fullback.
 
No way. We don’t want to be at a stage in 4-6 weeks where Cobbo still has to get the hang of centre. No point having Sailor if you are going to weaken 2 positions to fix 1. Argument is you weaken 3 positions in Wing, Centre and Fullback when you bring Oates in on the wing, Arthars/Mariner to centre and Cobbo to fullback. Just play as close to like for like and get the house in order for the 2 superstars to return. Sailor fullback, Cobbo centre, I’m probably keeping Baker at starting prop and Willison on the bench for now as well.

Agreed. If it were one week, sure go for it Cobbs but since it is AT LEAST a month, it has to be Sailor.

If Reece still had the ball in his hands I think it would have prevented the head clash . As May would have hit his arms with the ball between their bodies .

Walsh didn't have the white thingy and got hit in the head, according to you this shouldn't matter or have you changed your mind?

No .
He thought Walsh would have the white thingy .So was trying to do a ball and all tackle .If Walsh held on to the ball it would have acted as a bumper bar .

Not trying some fricken kamikaze attack like some people were intimating .

He still hit him in the head without the ball in the end . If players can get suspended for late hits in the back of play makers for danger of whip lash he should also get punished .

At the time I expected a sin bin when the Ref callled May and Yeo together . Which would have meant he could be replaced for foul play . After Walsh missed the HIA window Kevvie had to use another interchange to get a player on to replace Walsh . Poor decision on field by the officials and will be off field if May is not charged . IMO .

MRC reviewed it in detail .

NRL match-review co-ordinator Luke Patten defended the decision not to charge May.

“The match review committee considered the incident in great detail,” he said.

Yeah even if there was no fracture, that swelling and blurred vision isn’t going away in time.
 
You can just see Kevvie adding Oates to the bench because of what's happened with losing an outside back... and then we'll lose a middle early on, but only have Kobe and Willison on the bench or something.

It is always the way isn't it but you know what you could do. You could have Staggs shift to second row, Mariner to centre and Oates to wing. Oates and Staggs could potentially then tag team it for the remainder of the game.

I don't really say how we can't give that 17 jersey to Oates from next week and you know what, I think it will work well but might need a couple of weeks.
