Berbatoss own goal [icon_lol1.

Watch out for young Thud (Tom Huddlestone) one of the sweetest strikers of a ball I have seen for a long time.

On a side note made my coaching debut last weekend, coaching the youngest fellows under 9 side, had a hard fought 25-1 win icon_thumbs_u

So here I am watching Man U v Spurs, and enjoying!!!! Slowly coming over to the darkside!!!

Always had a soft spot for Liverpool so pretty keen to see the Spurs get up for ning, Beachy & co, and Russo of course icon_thumbs_u

And Spurs just went up 2-0 _woohoo_

Then they conceded five goals.

Haven't seen it, but i've heard the referee Howard Webb was fairly poor.

Yeh, I am by no means an expert on the game but I remember sitting there thinking how crap the ref was. Bloody entertaining game though!

Gutted, if he doesn't give the penalty (Gomes got the ball) then the whole game changes and IMO Spurs would have won. That decision riled us and they capitalised on Gomes' frustration which saw him go back to his bumbling ways.

Giggs wins PFA of the Year ...............................................................

What a slap in the face for the award, if you want sentiment involved give him an award for it! No point in asking how he beat Vidic and Gerrard, but we all know why.. Yawn

Good luck to him, but they got it totally wrong IMO ... Vidic and Van der Sar have been light years in front of Giggs this season

Oi Scotty, is this true?

From a grade A source from within Sunderland FC.

Craig Gordon is NOT injured as is being reported. The reason he is not playing is that he has played 49 games for Sunderland. One more game played triggers an automatic one million pound payment to Hearts, which Sunderland would rather not pay if they are heading for the Championship.

A rather defeatist attitude you might think, but as my Sunderland supporting flat mate said, Martin Fulop is not exactly playing any worse than Craig Gordon so it's not exactly much of a risk. The decision was made after a less than glourious performance by Gordon in goal in his last game.

If Sunderland stay up expect him to remain at the stadium of light. If they go down he'll be among the first out the door.

There is a few rumors flying around about Gordon. That one sounds credible, but there was a long period after Christmas where Fulop played almost every game for a month and a half, then Gordon got a couple of games then got benched again. While that rumor wouldn't surprise me, I think Fulop has just shown better form. Gordon, when he has played, has been very ordinary this season.

Increasing amount of reports that Liverpool are chasing David Silva. 8-)

How do you Spanish comrades think he would adapt to the Premier League if he signed?

He is very quick and very skillful, he is pretty small though and may find the EPL a bit too hard but some similar types have succeeded before him. From what I have heard Barca are also after Silva if as reported Henry goes back to England.

I've heard Barca are looking at Ribery?

Would be quite the signing.

I hope Barca get Ribery before the Mancs do

Yeah I think if Ribery goes to Man U, Barca will go for Silva. Real Madrid are after Silva, Ribery, Valencia, Ronaldo lol

aaand my hatred of man u has gone up another notch. It's now at notch 652463. Which I estimate is about a million less than the Liverpool fans on this board.. and everywhere else really
