To be completely honest if he doesn't lift his game I think he needs to go. It will be hard though because he is the first manager that has actually kept us in the top flight since Peter Reid 6 seasons ago. We need a hard tackling defensive midfielder and a really commanding center half. Our defence was disgusting last night.

Houllier or Allardyce, I'm pretty sure those are the 2 managers it is between for the Sunderland job at the moment. Who would you blokes prefer?

I'd want Houllier. He probably won't get you playing attractive football, but he would shore up your defence and get results.

Plus, you chaps already have Diouf and Cisse on board - two of his signings at Liverpool whom i'm sure he'd get the most out of.

If we get fat Sam I'm hoping he can pull some strings and get Nolan to the club. Whitehead and Tanio are both dead ordinary. Another good center half as well would be good... Tal Ben Haim maybe? How has he been playing at Citeh?
