Barca are 5 from 5 in La Liga as are Madrid, Ibra and Ronaldo are proving how good they are with 5 goals a piece. This is already looking like an epic 2 horse race.

As opposed to the regular 2 horse race [icon_razz1

Ning would be a very upset person right now.

We played terribly.

Credit to Fiorentina though, they dominated from start to finish. Jovetic is going to be some player.

sorry in advance for what im about to say ning....

It was awesome to see a Serie A side beat an english side. For too long now, English teams have outplayed Italian teams, but the tide could be turning. Great work Fiorentina. Forza Italia!

[icon_lol1.

The major leagues are fairly cyclical though, the Premier League has probably been the dominant one over the last few years thanks to the TV money and major investors, etc.

La Liga is now starting to come back into the fold with Barca winning the CL twice and Real Madrid signing up half the world's talent. The smaller teams in Spain are fairly strong as well.

Serie A is still recovering from the whole corruption thing, but seems to be improving a lot.

don't worry better teams than you have lost to Fiorentina.. they knocked everton out of the UEFA cup two seasons ago!!

That's cute.

oooooooh merseyside tension!!!!

Hey Mal, Ronnyd just told me that he thinks Liverpool fans are failed glory hunters. Go for Liverpool because they are good, but they never win shit!!!

Oh Ronnyd! Mal just told me that Everton have done a real good job in recent seasons....of managing to escape relegation!!! oh the claws are out now!!!!

Strong rumours that Harry Redknapp could be sacked .

For reasons that we have yet to establish at the time of writing, Harry Redknapp has shot to favourite in the next Premier League manager to go market. He is at 7/4, with Paul Hart languishing behind in the sack race at 3/1.

In the last hour, Paddy Power have stopped taking bets on his departure.

Has there been a fallout? Is it dangerously close to the annual date when Tottenham traditionally sack their manager? Or is this another Ribery/Benitez-style betting scam?

UPDATE: Talk on the forums suggest that news is about to break about corruption involving the Amdy Faye transfer. Is ‘Arry about to lose his job and his freedom?
