09/10 Football Thread

I actually watched Melbourne Victory vs Roar last night (yes I was bored)...what a little weed Robbie Kruse is. The way he went down like a sack of potatoes after running into Tiatto's back....please. That kind of diving just makes me sick.

Oh, hi Jarryd!

Not a surprise that Man U had enough time to get a square up it happens all the time, the top 4 are continually given forever to get a result after the 90 in England.

I haven't seen it, but i don't think that played a major role from what i've heard.

Didn't Richardson get himself sent off for the kicking the ball away or something? That's pretty silly.

Anyway, fucking hell 'Fergie' is a ****:

Sir Alex Ferguson tonight launched a blistering attack on Alan Wiley, accusing the Staffordshire official of "not being fit enough'' to do his job.

Wiley, the fourth official for last month's controversial Manchester derby, was in charge at Old Trafford this afternoon as an injury-time own-goal from Anton Ferdinand gave United a point against Sunderland in a 2-2 draw.

Ferguson claimed Wiley had not played the correct amount of added time because he had failed to add on an additional minute to the four already signalled once United scored.

"I was disappointed with the referee,'' said the United boss.

"He didn't add on any time for the goal. He played four minutes and two seconds.

"He was also walking up the pitch for the second goal needing a rest. He was not fit enough for a game of that standard.

"The pace of the game demanded a referee who was fit. He was not fit. It is an indictment of our game.

"You see referees abroad who are as fit as butcher's dogs. We have some who are fit. He wasn't fit.

"He was taking 30 seconds to book a player. He was needing a rest. It was ridiculous.''

Ferguson twice headed to the touchline during the second half to make his feelings known about controversial decisions.

***** me off no end that this **** has the nerve to say this kind of stuff after what happened against Citeh.

Just saw the equaliser on Fox Sports News, Ferdinand was unlucky, but still, that was amateur defending from him.

If i was you Scotty, i'd be in shock. So close, so unlucky. [icon_frown

I just feel numb afterwards, completely gutted as I said. But that article about Ferguson just makes me furious.

I hate Manchester United more than ANY other team including the mags, beating them at OT would have been incredible.

No doubt it will be hands over the eyes and ears by the FA once again. Glad to see Bent playing well again Scotty after his hiatus at Spurs.

Spurs had a lucky 2 all draw at Bolton but I'll take that from Reebok, gee we need some centre backs to be fit to play soon, and Luka Modric is 2 weeks away, so all positive. 16 points vs 2 or so same time last year = happy Russo

0-0 between Chelsea and Liverpool at halftime.

It's been a fairly tight encounter, both teams have had one or two chances.

We're doing a lot better than i expected.

Try and look on the brightside ning, at least you didn't blow your chance to win your first game at Old Trafford in 40 years with an own goal deep in injury time.

Russo spurs will be looking fantastic when Modric comes back. Shame about your defence though. What's the word on Woodgate at the moment? That bloke is a walking injury.

Can i just say how much i despise Dider Drogba the dramatic ****.

Seriously, he must have gone to ground and rolled around about eight times last night, it's beyond a joke. I honestly don't know how he can live with himself.

Even Terry went up to him and told him to get the **** up

Still a few months off yet, though Dawson is back just needs fitness and game time. As for Ledley king who knows, I think we may go looking for a quality Centre half in January (actually would have liked them to look at Neill when he was available).

Yes Modric is a class player and the heart of our side, Kranjcar is fitting in well already. As I said considering where we were at the same time last season all good, with 31 October circled in blood red on the calendar [icon_evillaugh

I dont watch the premier league, but from my time watching this asshole in ECL, I know what you mean.

Other sports has too much afl and nfl happening. So I thought I would just let you all know that Barca and Liverpool are ghey.

In other news;
Fabio Cannavaro has failed a doping test
Some rich Saudi bloke is thinking of buying a major stake in Liverpool FC
Alex Ferguson is still a twat
Barca are still keen on Fabregas and Robinho
Mike Ashley is still struggling to flog Newcastle United on the cheap, much to the amusement of Mackems everywhere
Beckham looks like he will return to Milan on loan
And there has been further speculation that Rangers and Celtic want to join the EPL, which everyone knows is just downright retarded

I hope you all enjoyed my friday football update :D

[icon_lol1.

I agree though, i am getting sick of seeing these new posts in the NFL and AFL threads.

Football FTW!

If Celtic and Rangers joined the premier league, they would be utter shite.

At least the other teams in the SPL would have a chance at the trophy for once!

The SPL would be crippled if Celtic and Rangers left. They are the only clubs which pull decent crowds to matches.
