Sheens seems to forget that Boyd has played alot of games on the wing, and has been carving up on the wing for QLD. he is claiming that he needed a specialiast winger publicly so he can justify picking Tuqiri to start over Boyd. if Tuqiri wasn't a Tigers player then Boyd would have been selected for the game against PNG

Tuqiri has been the best winger all season - he should have been picked in the Aussie squad and run-on team in the first place, not have to be brought in because of injury. I have no problem with him getting the start. Yeah Boyd has played some great games on the wing, but he is a Fullback - I prefer specialist wingers if they are available.

Thankfully dad's party is in the afternoon finishing at 4, so I should be able to get to the final which kicks off at 7.

Yeah, Inlgis have been pretty awesome in the past 3 seasons for QLD, hasn't he?

Boyd has been good in origin, but he's only been finishing Inglis' great work. I don't think the current Aus centres will create as many chances as what Inglis would. Tiquiri is more likely to create something on his own than Boyd is imo.

Fair enough Inglis is doing a lot of the work. However Boyd still has to be there to finish it off. Also, defensively he is a very good winger imo.

Meh, we are going to put 40+ on the Kumuls so no real need to worry.
