Good to see. Tuqiri was the form winger in the finals IMO.

Definitely. Way better than BMoz, I hope the wingers are Boyd & Tuqiri, with Tate & Tonga in the centres.
Won't happen though, they have to have their token NSW back.

Yeah, and B Morris has been good in his previous appearances for Australia.

Awesome decision. I would have had Lote there before Hayne in the first place.

But TBH - surprised Geoff Carr let this through, I mean every report I have heard about this today had mentioned Rugby Union and the Wallabies. Surely this is just giving RU free advertising.

With Tom Shines coaching, don't be surprised to see Lawrence in there.

Any more injuries and Daniel Fitzhenry will get a call up.

I was wondering, considering i live in Sydney and am a Bronco fan, I always wanted to meet Lockyer, which makes me ask the question, does the Australian team have any open training sessions??? And if so when??

Ive been reading articles where they've trained at Concord oval, but i doubt they've been there all week???

So Tuqiri into the team instead of Darius. WTF. Surely he should have been instead of BMoz?

Tim Sheens wants "specialist wingers"

So much for naming your best 17!

So the fact that he's spent most of his career on the wing, plays Origin on the wing and offers a lot of versatility doesn't count in Boyd's favour? Sheens must be in the early stages of dementia.

Who is Slater's backup?

Tuqiri is better than you.

Tuqiri will do a fine job but Boyd has been shafted simple as that IMO.

Well, in the squad Boyd is. But in the match itself, nobody. But then you don't take a backup fullback into a game anyway. If Slater were to get injured I imagine BMoz or Tooqueery would shift to fullback, Tate to the wing and one of the back rowers into the centres.

Seriously? Turdley's in the 17? *facepalm* Then yes, he would be the backup.

How does this useless guy keep getting picked in rep teams?

Kurt Gidley's on the bench apparently.

But Gidley continual selection as a bench utility annoys me. It's such as waste of a spot, he only ever plays 20 ordinary minutes at dummy half while the awesomeness that is Cam Smith sits on the sidelines. Luke Lewis is in the team and can cover the halves, backrow and centres much more effectively than Gidley.

edit: yeah beat me to it Coxy.. he's cod ordinary
