Not arguing his playing status at all, hes a great player. Probably 2nd or 3rd best player of the past 10 years. But hes a wanker.

Various sources on both sides said Friday that owners and players are expected to reach an agreement in principle early next week, ending the longest work stoppage in league history without losing a game. All the major hurdles have been cleared, and the lawyers and staff for both parties will meet over the weekend to review the details and language of the potential deal.

I think I'm more excited for fantasy football reasons rather than watching the games - is that bad?

Packers won the superbowl with a heap of injuries to some of their best players, last season. So this season, they will likely be a force. Indy, NE, Pittsburgh and mostly Baltimore are usually thereabouts at the end of the year. While the Jets & Falcons will challenge as well.

As for a summary on all teams to help you find ur alleigance:

Steelers: Won more superbowls than any other team. Have won quite a few recently as well. Bit of a working mans team. Jesters team.

Ravens: Known for their tough as hell defense Ray Lewis is the face of the team who is an extravagant yet tough player

Browns: Meats team, have a bit of a recent history of losing but seem to be improving recently. Has one of the big cult figures in the game in "The White Rhino" Peyton Hillis.

Bengals: Often referred to as the Bungles for their ineptitude. They had some good players a few years ago but all turned to ****. Chad Ochocinco plays for them who is one of the most entertaining players in the league, in terms of showmanship.

Patriots: a massive recent history of winning. Has one of the best Quarterbacks in the league in Tom Brady. They are often disliked for their practices, with a coach everyone hates and they have been caught doing some dirty things in the past. Pretty much the Melbourne Storm of the NFL. Clintos & mrslongs fave team.

Jets: The young upstart team of the league. With a super arrogant coach, but with a tough as hell defense and a pretty boy qb, they are a bit of a mixed bag. They are a very good team at the moment, have a history of falling short. I quite like them.

Dolphins: were a force in the 70s, have been a playoffs every few years side since. nothing too much to mention here really.

Bills: A Massive history of falling short. Made the superbowl 4 years straight in the 90s and lost every time. Have been **** for a around 5-10 years now. Havent made the playoffs in ages.

Colts: Great team that have made the playoffs every year for as long as I can remember. They have the best qb in the game in Peyton Manning although he is declining a bit these days. I believe they are Fozz' fave team.

Texans: Newest team in the NFL, have never made the playoffs but after their years of getting early draft picks, they are building quite well with some great players, especially on offense.

Titans: Used to be the Houston Oilers until The late 90s. Are usually a mid table sort of team but have made it deep into the playoffs before. Have Chris Johnson who is epic.

Jaguars: Pretty non-descript team. Get terrible crowds. Came into the league in the mid-nineties and have never really done much. Their star player, Maurice Jones-Drew is on the decline.

Chiefs: Pretty good in the 60s, havent been that great since without ever being awful.

Raiders: Have a history of being the degenerate team of the league. have crazy fans and a bonkers owner. Have won 3 superbowls and were a playoff level team always for around 25 years or so but the last 10 years have been terrible and have been the joke of the league for a large part of the decade. just when it looked like they were improving their 2 best players are now off contract. mine and Bannermanias favourite team.

Broncos: had a massive history of falling short, they lost about 5 superbowls in the 70s and 80s but finally won 2 back to back in the late 90s. usually a good team, if they have a **** season they usually jump back up again. kinda lean on talent at the moment though.

Chargers: have dominated their division for ages now. Have a great qb and the best Tight end.

Packers: Superbowl champs and the team with the most history in the league. won the first superbowl. only team to be owned by the fans. Has Aaron Rodgers who is a great quarterback.

Vikings: Another team that has fallen short forever despite having great teams. have never won a superbowl.

Bears: One of the traditional greats. have only won 1 superbowl. Always considered to be a tough team and always have a tough defense.

Lions: have been inept forever. had a 0-16 season a few years back. seem to be building to be a good team though, they have a very young but high-powered offense.

Cowboys: traditionally great, known as Americas team. dominant in the 90s. a bit of an underacheiving team in recent years.

Eagles: another falling short team. lost in the NFC championship game 4 years in a row last decade and then finally made the superbowl, only to lose. They have Michael Vick who is the most controversial player in the league. Some call him the most entertaining player in the game, others hate him due to his conviction on torturing and killing dogs.

Giants: Traditionally strong. Have won a superbowl in each of the last 3 decades. recently a bit of an underacheiving side. Dukeys fave team.

Redskins: 3 time superbowl champs but have been a mid to low table team for quite a while now. doesn't look like improving any time soon.

Saints: were terrible forever until 2 seasons ago when they won the superbowl. everyones 2nd favourite team. Their qb, Drew Brees is one of the best.

Buccaneers: were really bad until the late 90s/early 2000s where they had a monster defense and dominated and won a superbowl. have been pretty bad for a few years now thanks to rebuilding, but their current coach is awesome and is really building this young side up.

Panthers: Were the worst team last year but have been pretty good for the last so many years. Are a newish team to the league.

Falcons: Had the best record in the NFC last year but got smashed by the Packers in the playoffs. Have never won a superbowl.

Rams: have been pretty bad for a while now but are getting better. are in the worst division. won the superbowl in 99/00.

Seahawks: made the playoffs last year despite being inept and then won a playoff game with one of the best runs ever by marshawn lynch (look it up). will likely fall further next season. never won a superbowl.

49ers: the undisputed team of the 80s winning 4 of their 5 superbowls in that decade. have been pretty mediocre for a while now but have a new young coach that was well respected in college football.

Cardinals: Made the superbowl a few years ago after years of being ****. then their qb retired and they went back to being awful.
