Concession rates. They didn't even ask me for a concession card.
I thought it was $11.75 for the concession rate, but they charged me $10.

is dolphin oval a situation where you'll need to get there two hours before the broncos game to get a decent spot to view it? im keen to go but i wont be able to get there early

You would need to get there when the gates open to be guaranteed a good spot. A couple of hours early, you might get a good spot on top of the hill. You'll definitely be sitting on the grass, though. Unless you bring a chair. They do have seats on the opposite side, but they will all be gone by the time you get there.
Last time I went there, I got there an hour early and there was nowhere else to sit apart from around the middle of the hill. There was a huge row of jackasses with chairs in front of us so it blocked our view a bit.

Beers, no. You're not allowed to take any alcohol in the venue, you have to buy it there. Which sucks because the lines and the prices are bloody ridiculous.
Food, maybe. I guess it depends on what it is. You would be better off calling them to find out.
These are the entry details.
ENTRY TO THE GAME
• Gates open at 1:30pm
• The Redcliffe Dolphins is a Responsible Service of Alcohol compliant venue as per Liquor Licensing Laws.
• In line with government licensing requirements no fluids of any description (excluding medical related) will be permitted into the venue.
• Identification must be shown to access alcohol serviced areas (18 years + are only permitted in the licensed area)
• No Glass of any description can be taken into the venue
• No Alcohol is permitted to be taken into the venue
• No commercially pre-purchased food can be taken into the venue
• Sealed (unopened) plastic water bottles are allowed
• Baggage checks will be made upon entry at every gate
• Appropriate Concession Cards (Aged/Disability) must be presented when purchasing tickets at the venue and at the gate up
