JT has withdrawn from the Four Nations.

JT has withdrawn from the Four Nations.

Gives Ben Hunt more of a chance. But with Sheens at the helm, DCE will play 6 and Farah will more than likely get the bench utility spot.

Mat Scott has also confirmed his unavailability.

If nothing else, it makes the Four Nations pretty interesting viewing.

Did JT and Scott even bother trying to come up with an excuse not to play or did they give up the charade altogether?

Pretty sure JT has a shoulder injury, not sure what Scott's excuse is though.

At least our games wont be walkovers, plus it allows a chance to look to the future with most of these injured players retiring in a couple of years.

NZ have the strongest squad I've seen from them in a while tbh, and Australia's is one of our weakest in a while with all the withdrawals.

Might actually be a close game, I'd say we'll scrap the bench utility role with JT withdrawing, something along these lines I guess.

1. Greg Inglis
2. Alex Johnston
3. Jarryd Hayne
4. Michael Jennings
5. Daniel Tupou
6. Daly Cherry-Evans
7. Cooper Cronk
8. Josh McGuire
9. Cameron Smith (c)
10. Aaron Woods
11. Greg Bird
12. Sam Thaiday
13. Corey Parker

14. Brenton Lawrence
15. Dylan Napa
16. Anthony Watmough
17. Boyd Cordner

Ewww. That team will have trouble beating the PM's XIII.

Wow if all these guys are dropping out now just imagine how many played in the finals carrying injuries.

Daly Cherry-Evans doesn't deserve a spot, however he will probably be picked.

I buy tickets, stars start dropping like flies.

Typical.

Mitchell Pearce in for JT?
Say it ain't so.
