Our line-up would be sexy as hell if we somehow managed to find room for Lolohea, still a big question mark on the forwards, but it's a step in the right direction, it'd also give us some options if things don't go as planned. If Hunt continues to stink it up, Lolohea has played pretty decent in the halves at the Warriors (Probably a short-term option, I view Lolohea as a fullback long-term), if Arrow doesn't play as well as we want, we can shift Gillett to lock and start Oates or Pangai on an edge, or alternatively shift Blair to lock and start someone else at prop.

Options, that's what we need.

1. Boyd (c)
2. Mead
3. Lolohea
4. Roberts
5. Kahu
6. Milford
7. Hunt
8. McGuire
9. McCullough
10. Blair
11. Thaiday
12. Gillett
13. Arrow

14. Oates
15. Pangai Jr
16. Ese'ese
17. Nikorima

No doubt we were in the running to sign Lolohea, but I think our chances have taken a hit with Kearney going to the Warriors. If McFadden remained coach, I believe Lolohea would of wanted out, but I'd think Kearney has a high opinion of him from working in the Kiwi national side and wouldn't let him leave so easily.

I think Lolohea is a great player, and to me I believe he is a natural five-eighth who can play fullback, as well as anywhere in the backline at a pinch. From watching him progress through the under 20s, I thought he would be the next big thing, but having a clueless coach whose continually screwed him around, hasn't allowed him to develop as a five-eighth.

If we were to sign him though, it would be more as a utility backline player. If anything I can see Melbourne potentially chasing him hard as a five-eighth especially with the Foran signing, so I'd doubt he'd want to be a utility player with us if given a starting halves position.

I wonder what he does these days?
ive searched his name on google and all that comes up is with him with a spear on the training field haha

Haha I'm pretty sure that's not a spear. It looks like a rake. It might be during his time as a groundman for one of the Queensland Cup teams. Its probably an old photo.
