I disagree we have sum good up and coming forwards we only need 1 real big bopper like napa
I'm sure plenty of people thought the same thing about us in 2015.
Now our forwards are 2 years older and we have lost Parker & haven't signed anyone of significance.
#Winning.
Its still plenty early in the offseason and still plenty of suggestion we may pick up Napa.
Add to that the experience or young forwards got last year and that they are another year older. It's really nowhere near as doom and gloom as you are portraying.

So your hinging next year's success on whether we do or don't sign Napa?
That's tragic.
No, as I said I am pinning our success on getting him (or another quality prop) and our young, incredibly talented forwards being a year older and more experienced as I said.
If you want to have an actual discussion I more than welcome that, but if this is just going to be pot shots etc. then I'm not interested.
Ok fair call.
Ofahenguae, Ese'ese, Su'a, Arrow & TPJ are the forwards I'm assuming your speaking about? Aside from Offa none of them have really had a go.
We're just forced to now use them and we've heard stories from our own fans about how much of a gun they were in the 20's but that's it.

I just think our recruitment & retention has let us down over the last couple of years and hasn't done enough to forge a well rounded pack that consists of size, impact, work rate & experience. Wallace was starting to look like prop comming of age and we let him go, I'm confused.
We didn't let Wallace go, we just couldn't afford to pay what the Titans did.
Considering what we have on the books, I'd say we let him go. Wallace was one worth keeping IMO. His play style was reminiscent of Hannant in his earlier days.
Don't think that is true.
Said in an article that we could not afford to match the offer the Titans made Wallace.
History has shown that we can make room for players we want and want to keep. No one knows the state of the books and what the titans paid, I just feel the Wallace would have been worth fighting for.
Bennett is definitely banking a lot on our juniors, we won't know whether it was a good move or not for a few years, I just think a few years is a long price to pay if it doesn't come off.
I don't think Bennett let him go.
I think our young guys will do really well. They might be a little bit inconsistent this year, but I can see them coming on leaps and bounds this year. Especially Ese'ese and TPJ.
Are you basing that off hope alone though?
Nope. Genuinely think those guys will really kick on this year.
