Considering he is a forward, if he goes it'd be a poor career move. Players like arrow or Wallace you can understand-bench/18th-19th man to starting player, or players like moga or ese ese you can understand-$$$$ for players that have improved under us..Surely not.
But a couple of spots have opened up for carrigan, he's unproven against qld cup level even so it wouldn't be a major $ increase, and he'd just be in the same situation (maybe would get a couple of bench games before he is even ready at best), whilst going to an unstable club with lower standards, poorer coaching and lower expectations and culture. If a player plays 20 games for the top of the table broncos with the right development, they are worth a lot more on the open market at 21-22 then they would be playing 40 games for a bottom 8 club with a poor development record.
This doesn't apply for positions that only have 1 position in a team and they are stuck behind a rep level type player (eg halfback, fullback) where they can't slowly bring them in and they just need a shot of course
