Yeah true but has the footwork and passing game to be on the edge and would destroy I feel.I might be wrong, but I don't see TPJ being an edge forward. He's only played in the middle for us too.
We have a real contest in the forwards this year and i am loving it. There is some experience and some youth that should be starting to boom. Ofa and TPJ are not starters yet but they will def be close. Coming off the world cup also. Thaiday and Taga will both need to play out of their skin to stay in the side with a few even younger guys nipping at their heels for a chance. If oats gets a shot it will probs be from the bench with Glenn to start for me. So 3 middle forwards and 2nd row backs cover.1 Darius Boyd

Fox sports had Haas in our #17 , be good to see if he puts his case forward to be included.

Scary that his body may still be developing. The kid already looks like someone took too many liberties in create-a-player.that's only because Foxsports apparently don't know a coach that has been around for 30 years.
Bennett has always been very reluctant to play rookie forwards especially ones as young as Haas.
The more likely scenario is that he'll play a game or two from the bench here and there for a taste, but will spend the majority of the season in the ISC developing his game and his body.
Wayne's (superior) method of producing props might be something that makes us lose Haas if he's desperate for a spot and other clubs come with huge money. Wayne surely knows that with these big guys, you gotta break them in slowly, they have to know they gotta keep working on their game, their size won't always be an advantage. It's too bad Wayne left when Dave Taylor was still coming through, maybe he could have turned him into something.
