2018 NRL Side

There is a reason why TPJ only gets that amount of time.
TPJs been playing 30-35 minutes a game lately...by next year he will be playing 40 plus and if he starts he game he comes off at around 20 mins and will come back on for the final 20, when the game is the most open-which I agree, suits his game. But it will also allow him too set the teams pace/aggression to start the game

1 Boyd
2 Kahu
3 Roberts
4 Opacic
5 Oates
6 Milford
7 Nikorima
8 Moose
9 Macca
10 Ofahengaue
11 Glenn
12 Gillett
13 Bird

14 Pangai Jnr
15 Sims
16 Thiaday
17 Lodge

Couple of gambles in there by picking Lodge and leaving Oates on the wing. Cant see too many real options at left center. Not sure i have much faith in Mead, It will be interesting to see how Pearson bounces back as he could allow Oates to move to the back row.

I really think its expecting way too much to expect Haas to break into the side, Fai is ahead of him currently. Its a big jump from the 20's, thats why im not so sure Shibasaki and Allan would feature prominently without playing a bit of ISC. As a bench utility, i'd be having a look at Christian Hazard from Redcliffe, or even somebody like Shaun Nona, he could be our Cody Walker.

Though next year we may see Thiaday play a few games in ISC to give Sua some game time.

A little different from the side I have picked but all good-valid points for sure

Do you think he is a long term first grade option based off what he is doing in ISC?

I think he will. Its just little things that will come with more experience. I do feel he has a few lapses in concentration at times, but i could be being a little harsh on him. I forget sometimes he is only 19. He has huge potential

Christian Hazard off to the Tigers.

I was thinking about Oates to centres but I doubt his passing ability is up to scratch.
17, I know Andre Savelio is a second rower but Alex Glenn was on the bench for most of the start of this year so I can't see why not.
My only worry is that Jack Bird is on big money and we may be under utilising him by playing him in the centres.

Heavy speculation around the Goldie is that Hayne has played his last game for them. A possible Bronco backline next year could look like this:

1 Boyd
2 Oates
3 Roberts
4 Hayne
5 Maranta

At least you know with Maranta as shit as he is, he has heart.

Actually I would probably have Hayne outside Maranta.
