Robsons manager alleged that the broncos showed interest - so at least that’s a positive sign

It's a bit vague, though.

Did we make an offer or we did just say we would like him at the club and asked if he would be interested.

Anyone able to post?

"Norths Devils premiership-winner Liam Horne has joined Tristan Sailor, the son of Broncos legend Wendell, at Red Hill after clinching a train-and-trial deal for Brisbane’s 2023 pre-season. A hooker or lock, Horne featured in the Devils’ back-to-back premiership wins over the past two seasons and made his Test debut for Papua New Guinea against Fiji in June. One of seven kids, Horne was born in Port Moresby before moving to Australia with his family and taking up rugby league from a young age. Horne also played in the Devils’ Colts 2018 premiership team which included current Broncos Kobe Hetherington, Jordan Riki and Cory Paix."

Played one game for PNG off the bench against Fiji:

Hoeter signing (2 years) finally confirmed.

Delouise:

"I sat down and wrote some goals; one was to get signed before Christmas. But to get the two-year deal was something I never thought would happen after being out of the NRL for seven years. It's something I'm very grateful for; not just for me but my family. Whenever we drive past and see a Broncos logo or sign, my daughters say, 'Dad, it's your team'."

Walters:

“It is great for Delouise to get a new deal and wonderful for our playing group and staff because he brings so much to the club on and off the field. He is such a good role model and example for all of our players. He got a taste of success early in the NRL and there was a void there for a long time but he kept fighting, training and being a good person. He has now got his just rewards.”
“Delouise is very reliable and consistent. You know what you are going to get from him when he runs out whether that is in the centres or on the wing. I particularly like his strong ball carries. He is underestimated in that space and he makes really good decisions in defence.”

Can we make a list of players who either haven’t seen out their contract since Kev started, or have asked for a release?

It shouldn’t need saying but this isn’t blaming Kev. I’m just choosing that time frame because it’s the current admin.

Release request:
Haas
Oloapu
Mariner
Niu (rumour)
Turpin
Isaako
Gamble
Croft
Lee

Didn’t see out contract:
TPJ
Lodge
Arthurs
McCullough(?)
Joe O(?)
Bullemor

Darius retired a year early, which meant he never had to play under Kevvie
David Mead retired mid season

I imagine most clubs would have something similar to be honest, this is the nature of a comp with a terrible contract system.

this.

most clubs that bring in a new coach, would have similar lists ... especially one coming of a wooden spoon
Can you give me some examples please? I’m not doubting you but there are far too many comments without any substance on BHQ at the moment

Manly just sacked a beloved coach for a Wooden spoon winner and ostracised half their players over the pride jersey and not a single player has asked for a release as far as I’ve heard.
