The big question mark is where is Te Kura, have we lost him?
No, think he's just still very raw. Likely will play gradually bigger minutes in qld cup, then in development or full squad next year. Will be interesting to see if he leapfrogs willison as willison has missed a lot of game time over the last 3 years. I rate willison higher talent but his injuries are concerning.

I can't keep up with the NRL squad system. I was never entirely sure on when the official deadline was but I was under the impression that clubs had to announce twenty-nine players before they could announce their Round 1 teams on Tuesday.

So often you'd see clubs hold onto players only to release them straight after to meet that deadline. I'm sure there's some explanation about Robati being paid x amount so the Broncos don't have to meet the requirement but I'd still like to see more clarity.

I'm surprised that neither Te Kura or O'Ofou were named. It's especially odd for Te Kura since he was photographed in the official team photo. I'm going to presume he's on a deal but they won't lock him into a development deal since there are no immediate plans for him.
I really want to see O'Ofou somewhere in the squad ... hopefully on a development deal.

I think he's got a bit about him

Is there anything in regards to him?

He’s super talented. He’s our potential version of NAS but he isn’t I either the main or development squad which means another team has likely already poached him or can easily do so I would assume. It’s very worrying.

Yeah, I had high hopes of Willison but the poor bloke can’t seem to get a break with those injuries man. Hopefully, everything is beside him soon & he starts to play some grade minutes if not more Q-cup minutes.

Te-Kura has definitely got something about him. He needs to play more Q-cup this year for him to develop a lot.

Not sure... but his profile is on the Broncos website??

Maybe he's lined up for a development deal / top 30 from next year onwards

Te Kura is on Full-time training deal. He is only 17 and played his second year of Meninga last year.

He's 18 this year and will be at Souths. He can play after round 10 same as a development deal.
Holy shit, Ben is only 17?!

The fact he is only just 18 is what is so promising about this kid, he’s going to be a monster. I just hope it’s with us and not some other club.

It is all good, they won't let him get away, just bringing him through slowly.

He will be a target for Dolphins because he played for them from 7-17.
