And people still think there is no agenda against the broncos.

Shove a ref, no sanction, swear In their general direction cop a 3 match suspension.

Scuffle with a team mate, sanction and match ban.
Get arrested for fighting In public nothing.

You cannot tell me there is no double standard based on the jersey you wear.
Knocking out a 16 year old's front teeth in a nightclub because he filmed you doing something (gee, I wonder what that could possibly be) doesn't even warrant a mention.

In Josh Curran's defence though, he didn't step on the kid's new white shoes.

He's been acting like a prat on the field all season apparently, and showing up to the hearing with what came across as a concocted bullshit excuse might not have helped his case. And Adam Reynolds contradicting it wouldn't have helped his credibility.

Could have gone either way. I started out buying into it, but by the end I'd had enough of it. It was schoolboy stuff. Once you see it as bullshit, it's hard to unsee it. And it's not a good look.

Take it on the chin. Pull your head in. Become captaincy material.
Did Badel proof read this?

I don't think I've ever seen a news event that has seen more traffic than a game day on here.

The last week is a prime example for the team why you have to be fricken ruthless on the field and show up for games you are expected to win, the Titans game was there to be won and a game we should have won.

At any time during the season things can turn against you and in a very short time we have lost our 2 points clear advantage on the table, lost our attacking spark of a fullback, our backrower who has been going gangbusters, our other experienced backrower and quality forward.

So now we are in a position of having to play a tough derby game against our ex-coach and big across town rival without 4 of our quality players knowing that if we lose we could even drop out of the top 4.

I have no doubt he swore at the ref and regardless of the absolutely awful hearing that did not even come close to proving what it was supposed to do at no surprise to anyone, I think a suspension is a good outcome because as much as referees are awful, like everyone else, they deserve respect.

What is frustrating as always though is the double standard flashing in neon lights when looking at what Luai did. Luai has a believable excuse like Walsh did but the evidence was also there for all to see in that he pushed an official, which is either equal or worse than swearing at them. Luai is also in he ref’s face game in, game out so why no suspension there?

If Walsh’s conduct is worth three weeks, and I’m not saying it shouldn’t be, Luai’s is worth that as well because ultimately, both cases are contrary conduct toward a referee.

Badel’s latest article where he claims Walsh’s reputation is in tatters and that wearing an earring that he always wears is somehow disrespectful to the court is low even for him. I’m not trying to get a response from the resident Badel lovers but even Pete should be embarrassed about that article.

I thought he looked good in the suit. Sheesh.

You assume it is bullshit, the panel was split so at least one official disagrees with you.
It still doesn't detract from the fact we had a guy put hands on an official 2 weeks ago and got no punishment, while a Bronco cops the heavy treatment on speculation.
Cmon man, face reality, this shit is whack.

Acting like a prat isn't an offence. That should be on the club to tell him to pull his head in not be judicary.

Let's not forget that it is now considered on par with calling the ref a cheating bastard

Let's see if Badel picks on the next guy wearing an earring to a judicial hearing...bet ya he doesn't FMD.

I wished we didn’t have a post Kangaroo Court media and instead had a comment along the lines of we are seeking legal advise in relation to the defamatory comments made about our players

also with johns c bombing a ref 15 years ago. so somewhat consistent at least.

Johns was the touchie!

He was looking at four weeks but got two after admitting he did it and apologising to the touch judge.
