Edit: Ignored staff direction and untrue
Easy way to stop this switch shit. Say no more origin for players not aligned directly to Australia in test matches. All these islanders would then back track pretty quickly as they are all about the cash.
And the clowns are just noticing this now? Doesn't surprise me, I suppose.Well, well, well
The corrupt nrl are looking into the play the ball ahead of ‘25.
Apparently the riff v eels game in August - panthers only played ball correctly once from 11.
Bit fuckin late
That’s vlandys for yaAnd the clowns are just noticing this now? Doesn't surprise me, I suppose.
The Panthers have reportedly told the NRL that there is “no way in the world” they'll be playing the World Club Challenge against the SL Premiers.
I'd love to see the bid put forward by PNG... would just love to see what they've chucked in there for infrastructure, etc.The NRL have reportedly rejected 8 more expansion bids ... the only one accepted so far is the one that comes with bucketloads of taxpayer money.
3 bids from NZ South Island
2 bids from Brisbane
1 bid from Central QLD
1 bid from Fiji
1 bid from Newtown Jets
Perth had their bid rejected a few weeks ago
NRL boss Andrew Abdo insisted expansion was not dead.
“Expansion is an exciting priority for the game,” Abdo said.
“The (Australian Rugby League) Commission have made it clear that any expansion must have a strong business case that delivers value for all stakeholders.
“We are working on the right plan and model for every region. New Zealand, Western Australia, Queensland and PNG are strategic, vibrant and growing rugby league regions.
“At this stage, the bids submitted have not met the necessary threshold to be accepted. We continue to work to strengthen the case for any potential expansion.”
I'd love to see the bid put forward by PNG... would just love to see what they've chucked in there for infrastructure, etc.
The only threshold they meet is money, which is only because of the Aus government... would like to see what their bid documents put forward after year 10, which is the current guarantee I believe?
What have they put forward to indicate they will still be sustainable in 20yr time... Titans are already 16yr old and they are considered a young team, but that's 6yrs after the $60M is gone
100% agree... contracts and agreements get torn up all the time... but in this hypothetical world where PNG somehow manage to get $60M in funding I just wonder what they've chucked in their bid to outline their plans to be a sustainable club moving forward that meets all these supposed thresholds and appeases all stakeholders.you're correct the promise was for 10 years ... but even if politicians could be believed, there will be one, maybe two elections before they were to enter the league ... and another 3 minimum during that 10 year promise.
a change of government can change things in an instant ... the NRL have even had experience with that when the NSW government backflipped on their stadium deal
The grub has probably been given exclusive membership to qantas club from his other grubby mate Albo. Wouldn’t rule out kickbacks from the corrupt ndis either. Anywhere there’s easy money to be had this prick is front and centreQuite annoying to think some of my tax might be going in to Vlandys pocket.
Wait so they are Broncos fans but jumped on The and tried to make a podcast out of it? lol I’ll listen just to hear these fuckwits.Didn't know where to put this but I seen an nrl podcast and thought "that's a new one". The episode was all broncos topics in the heading and had a general name "3rd man in" or something....
Turns out they changed their name from the "dolpinspod" hahahaha... couldn't get enough listeners obviously. The episode still had a dolphins section hidden in it. Haha
