A good Saturday for the Peninsula.

In a couple of hours we have WM Seagulls in action against the high flying Jets. It's an important game for the Seagulls who just dropped out of the 8 following the Capras big win over night.

This is the type of game I'd like to see Bukowski step up. Seagulls need to force the game into the grind and use their forwards to put the Jets off. If they can win the territory and win the physical contest they could give themselves a chance.

Any word on what's happening with Ben Farr @1910? Hasn't played in six weeks, they've really missed his presence on the field.

Anderson 50m kick return first kick to him and Verhoeven nice pass for a try.

Great first 10 minutes.
 
Yeah not sure the defense is offering much resistance but Verhoeven is carving up that left side.

Tuilekutu with three first half tries outside Verhoeven. Been great centre play.

Anderson completely changed the complexion of the game. Just the type of player who makes everyone around him look better and he had that left edge humming.

Happy to see Verhoeven back on his preferred side and springing off defenders with his fend.
