Queensland Under 19 men’s coach Darius Boyd has named a 20-player squad ahead of this year's representative clash, with players selected from some of the strongest pathway programs in the country.

Boyd will once again be joined by assistant coaches Andrew McCullough and Jesse Maclean as the coaching staff look to build on last year's successful campaign, which saw Queensland claim victory at Under 19 level.

Queensland will assemble in camp this week ahead of the clash with New South Wales at North Sydney Oval on Thursday, June 18, with kick-off scheduled for 7.45pm as the Maroons look to defend last year's title.

Pointless trying to figure out what the bench will be but that's my likely starting side.

Bishop Neal is a pull out of nowhere. How the **** has that happened.

Big shift from February to now and Broncos could end up with very little representation in a Queensland Under 19 side.

Berrigan, Feaunati, Gundry, Horne, Kendall, Martin and Patterson all made the Emerging side and didn't make the final side.

Of what's left- Siosaia Poese, been meh in NRLQ Boyd is obviously happy and he did score two on Sunday so that maybe that tipped him over,
Williams was great for Wynnum in Meninga and had a great Grand Final, Francis speaks for himself.

Its just a shame it seems Francis isn't getting a call up to first grade.

Pretty grim looking for the Broncos when they've got next to no represenation in the QLD Origins sides in top grade and under 19's level.
Wasn't it pretty grim when we had massive representation too? These teams are selected by who is best against other teenagers, it really doesn't mean much for the future when these superstar teenagers can't step up year after year.

Pretty grim looking for the Broncos when they've got next to no represenation in the QLD Origins sides in top grade and under 19's level.

Last year was only Coates and Black for the Broncos. Coates and Bai are the only ones to play NRL since then from that 18 and for Blues Clarke and Harrison.

It's more interesting what they thought would be the side in February to now. Francis wasn't even on their radar.
