2026 U19 State of Origin

The only call.

Looking forward to this more than the main event.

I'd say by 9pm Thursday Bunn will have the biggest smile on his face. Watson is signed until 2030 and it will be very clear this week why.

Watson- he's the leader this team needs, I haven't been this impressed with a captain since Carrigan in 2018. He's just a level jumper, was terrific at Meninga in 24 and 25 and particularly 25. Goes to the Storm and is three games into Cup at half first year out of school. I can't wait to see him play tomorrow night. He's going to have some sort of combination with Francis.

Queensland's forward pack is their strength and how Wynard and Watson use them is going to win this game. Boyd loves tall mobile crazy forwards because that's what he's picked. Queensland have learnt you don't win Under 19 Origin picking guys that finesse the ball just need giant mobile rock munchers.

Koina is a massive hitter and will put some fear into them.
Francis has played Cup and handled it.
Starr is tall and has been getting named for Redcliffe Cup but hasn't played yet but has excelled at Meninga.
To’a was outstanding at Meninga this year.
Neal is playing Cup and attack wise a weapon.
Williams was outstanding for Wynnum in Meninga.

Queensland needs to say backs bring the ball back from kicks but other than that get out of the way even sit down we don't need you.

Wynyard and Watson have a massive ball distribution job just get balls to their flying forwards.

Forgot Lateo, close to the line he's so powerful and big and his runs have just destroyed teams this year in Mening and NRLQ on the right-hand side. I think he could nearly play 6 for the Cowboys this year.

Looking forward to this game.. 10 mins away?

There's only like 2 broncos in this isn't there... who we looking out for?

Looks like it's

13. Tupou Francis (of ****ing course)

2. Siosaia Poese

Francis

Especially in the last ten minutes.

Batten worries me for NSW. Everything he touched for the Dolphins in their NRLQ clash against the Broncos turned to gold.

Keep an eye out for Watson, particularly in the second half. I've seen him have a horrible first only to turn it around.

I'm also keeping an out for @MRGoTO 's guy Bishop Neal.

That was the clearest flop/2nd effort you will ever see lol

Good run from Koina that set.

NSW give away a dumb penalty on the last. Good attacking opportunity here.

Starr with a good carry and Wynyard scores an easy one from dummy half.

Small moment but Watson centering the ball instead of following Francis' lead and forcing the pass was good maturity.

I say that and then Neal decides to pop an offload inside his own half and it's spilled.

Good defence from the Maroons, but NSW are winning the field position here. Poese looks out of his depth.

Francis looks the goods in the middle doesn't he, knows how to find his front. Great footwork and tackles pretty well.

Poese looks skinny but there's quite a bit of Mariner to him in my opinion.

2 Phins props have done well at finding their front and getting quick PTB too
