A lot of bowlers shorten their run ups as they gain experience and mature .
Once upon a lot of bowlers had 2 run ups . Their regular and the short run . Denis Lillee didn`t mind the short run up occaisionally .

Renshaw is so far off where he needs to be to be a Test player .. he blocked about half a dozen balls during his innings today that were near enough to half volleys on leg stump or in the slot outside off stump..

There’s little things he could & should be doing at the crease that would aid his cause imo.. just being more proactive in looking for quick singles etc.. he looks like a lumbering heavy-footed giraffe just having a net

I’d pick the kids from NSW before giving Renshaw another run. He just hasn’t scored enough big runs.

When and where you score runs is more important than the number of tons .
Although scoring 100s does look good in stats .

Why do they need such long run ups. Ultimate waste of energy. He looks big and strong with decent pace.

Slinger vs rhythm bowler .
Slingers have very strong shoulders . The rest of us need a little more momentum.

Apparently he had a sewing pin embeded in the ball of his foot for years .
He took some time off , got together with D.K and came back bowling faster than ever and able to keep the seam upright and swing the ball . What a revelation !

Showed a slither of getting back to form. Good to see the captaincy didn't impact him too much.

I do think some of his field placings were a bit odd. Cute for the sake of being cute.

Really important today the Bulls get as close to 450 as they can. WA can't be batting again today.

Marnus has really struggled to go big for a few years now. He is working hard with the bat but it isn't coming as easy for him and he's not getting as much luck either.

It's been two very middling years in a row Av 30 in 24 and 34 in 23. Down from 62 in 19-22.

He hasn't scored 100 for Queensland for two years. I am hoping the captaincy brings him out of that and makes him focus less on his batting. He needs to relax.

I really don't think he's captaincy material. There is just too much carry on from him at times.
How can he relax when he has 10 coffees a day.
