Hate to break it to you, but he only managed 2 field goals last season, which still put him in the second tier behind Sam Walker who kicked 3. Meanwhile Milford and Gamble both kicked 1 each.

He did kick 3 40/20's which was the equal highest in the comp. Albert and Milf kicked 1 each.

His best stat is Line Engagements, in which he led the competition.

Not really sure you needed field goals last year when margins were constantly 20 and 30 plus... but he did nail a 40m 2-point field goal against us, which was opportunistic on the brink of half time (pretty fucking handy option to have leading into HT).

Also had another 2 pointer 15m from touch to tie a game. Might've been the game where George Burgess scored in golden point and then Tigers ran it back the length??

So if he only had two they both ended up being 2-pointers... and the second one was clutch to tie the game.

By comparison the Broncos as a whole squad kicked 1 field goal over the course of all last year, which may have been in one of the last games by Milf to stretch the lead to 13 or something

There was also a game a year or 3 ago where he had to kick 3 field goals in the last 10 mins to win it... and he did....

One thing you can't argue with is his kicking under pressure. The grand final was probably the only one I remember him missing in that situation the last few years. Then again, it's funny how he was expected to get it, yet it wouldn't have been expected for too many others, shows how good he is with the pressure kicks

Has a touch of 2015 about them, no one expected much from them that year, but they seemed to be enjoying being around each other, were having fun and enjoying their footy - and look where that ended up getting them to.

But also how good will it feel if we are getting to the end of games with the scores tied and knowing Arey is sitting there calling the shots for a field goal.

Feel like we havent had a nailed on field goal kicker to ice games since Lockyer... and Arey smokes them from 40m out... think he kicked 3 in about 10mins to beat the dragons in a final a couple years back??

Isaako and Kahu were our go to field goal kickers from the bloody wing... I think Hunt has kicked like 1 field goal in his career and it may have only been in the last 2yrs... can remember he shanked one from 10m out when drags were smashing us in his first match with them. Was peak Bhunt.

Milf could smoke a few, but not when it counted... barring the 40m one he buried in 2016 to beat the cows at Suncorp.

Still have memories of the draw with warriors a couple years back when everyone was missing them

Yeah same here was at that game and it got to a stage where Segeyaro went for one out of dummy half.

Multiple times Hass and Flegler got us the moment needed to start sets, but we missed that 5th tackle kick to finish off the hard work. Milford would try a big spiral bomb or we kick it straight to the fullback to waste all our forwards hard work. When we had the pressure building on opposition 40 in when a repeat set was need, opposition gets 7th tackle set. Reynolds has the skills and footy smarts to fix this alot, especially his kicks to the corners to build the pressure.
