Allegations against Bulldogs

The Bulldogs would know who it is, but are covering it up.

At the start the Bulldogs said it was the players Mad Monday & was a private function etc, then they said family & friends were there.

Next it will be everyone who went to the GF were there.

Totally agree Kaz. I think I said something earlier that when it changed from a private event to 'everyone was there and there dog too' in a matter of days - I thought to myself yeah you can see where this is going...

League is a facking laughing stock.

CANTERBURY have been fined $30,000 as a result of their unsavoury Mad Monday celebrations.

The Australian Rugby League Commission has this afternoon released a report on the Bulldogs saga which says the club must donate $30,000 to a charity – despite their investigations supporting claims by the club that some of the comments were not, in fact, directed towards the media.

According to the release – in which ARLC chief executive Shane Mattiske also called for Mad Monday to be scrapped – the report found: "Some of the comments reported by the media were incorrectly recounted and should not, on the evidence since provided, be construed as having been directed to the reporters".

The report also found that, irrespective of any arguments as to whether other remarks were directed to the media, the language was unquestionably offensive, loud and threatening. It also found the club was aware of the presence of media cameras and that there were also hand gestures directed towards the media by those at the club.

Why, because it's totally unbelievable that a private function would include family and friends, unheard of.:001_rolleyes:

doesnt take a genius to see that it (the one that opened the window and made hand gestures etc) wasnt a player. he had a bigger than kasiano sized gut IIRC, and theres the little fact that he didnt look like any of their players.

either way, theyve completely mucked up this whole situation from the beginning.

Because the club said it was only players & staff.

Days later family & friends were there.

Can you provide a link with a quote from the club Kaz?

Well I did before I asked Kaz, I can't find anywhere that was said. Just thought you would know where it was seeing as you are posting it.

I'd believe that if it were Manly, cuz they would fit...

some of the media did not say it was a fine. $30,000. but a good will gesture charity donation from the bulldogs .
cmon you dumb dog . we will find some woman to get into your pants lol

bulldogs demanding apology from channel 9 for defamation . bulldogs said the abuser was not a bulldog player .

So a homeless guy they got off the street, and offered him 10 bucks to take the blame.

Intuitively the Dogs' explanation of in-house sledging is tough to buy given the context of events - Kasiano's newly revealed initial comments, hand gestures for the the cameras and the fact they were clearly audible from down on the footpath.

As usual Paul kents writing style isn't even suitable for an instruction manual but he actually makes very good points. I used to have a lot of respect for greenberg but zero now, it's hard to believe most people, including myself thought he would have been ideal for the NRL CEO job... I guess that was before he became haslers bitch.

The dogs version of events is completely unbelievable and makes no sense. The fact that the ARLC has swallowed it faster than a starstruck teenager at the back of bieber concert highlights how far the administration of our game is behind pretty much every other sporting organization in the world

Meh - All leagues in the world have players act up all the time. Wasn't it just a few days ago the English captain in soccer called the games administration a bunch of tits... Publicly on Twitter. Quade Cooper in Union, he got a slap on the wrist as well.

It's just part and parcel of the game. You have hundreds of young guys at the peak of their powers who are ego-fed weekly, there's bound to be a few that play up every now and then.
