Agree with mrs long - total legend RIP fella. You will truly be missed in and out of the water. I am devo - he was always one of my faves.

(latest unsubstantiated at this stage reports are saying his death MAY be drug related, or more specifically accidental OD of methodone and maybe some prescription sleeping pills)

So sad. A I was an awesome surfer, athlete and heat tactician. Took three world titles and was looking soo refreshed this year after taking 09 off to freesurf. Am totally devo'd to lose such a champion surfer and a general nice guy.
R.I.P Andy.....my heart goes out to Lyndie and Bruce and all the family :cry:

I ain't going there, I hate how everytime a celebrity or footballer does something stupid they blame depression.
