Why the Fk would you reject that!
I think he was meeting some cousins down at maccas and didn't have time to make it to the locky tutorials.

He's partially right IMO. Milford is purely a ball runner and that has always been his main strength. His game management is pretty bad, he doesn't look like he really knows what he's doing, and he's hoping he can create something out of nothing.
At the same time, I have little doubt he's only saying that because Bennett plays Milford in the halves.
He did pretty well at all those aspects in Canberra.Milford is 2/4 of a good fullback. Running game, check.
Passing game, check.
Bomb diffuser, nope.
Defence, nope.
The funny thing about Milford is that he runs the ball more now than he did at fullback.
His support play was very strong as was his work running the second man play, but other facets like kick returns left a lot to be desired.
Because his the no.6 he should be getting the ball as much as he does and running it but his one of the best running no.6s in the game. He was quicker at fullback at Raiders as well, I remember when he stepped Johnson and broke his ankles haha was good watching.

Now that Tallis agrees with me I'd like to apologize for being wrong. Milford has obviously been great. And guess who has started this again...
Triple M's Gorden Tallis believes Anthony Milford's career is being hampered by playing five-eighth, instead of his natural fullback position.
Talking on Triple M Sunday NRL, Tallis says Milford hasn't grasped the role of five-eighth since joining the Broncos.
"I feel really sorry for Anthony Milford, he's been thrown into the five-eighth role and he hasn't really grasped it," Tallis said.
"He's a natural ball-runner and his position is fullback."
"His game management is not up there with someone like a Morgan, Thurston or Cooper Cronk and that's his job at Brisbane."
"We're not going to look at Anthony Milford's career and go 'wow what a player,' that he could be because he doesn't have that freedom and range," he said.
"His strength as a rugby league player has been taken away from him."
Triple M and Fox Sports' Paul Kent agreed with Gordie's point of view saying Milford hasn't reached the potential he was touted to achieve.
"I think since going to Brisbane, while we see flashes of brilliance we all know he's got, I don't think we see it anywhere near as often as what we saw when he was at Canberra," Kenty said.
Although, Gordie has a simple solution to improve Milford's game.
"If I was coaching that organisation, Daruis (Boyd) would go into the six and Milford to one," he said.

But cult this is the man responsible for genius decisions such as advising the cowboys to not pick Bennett as a coach in 2009 (dragons win the premiership the next year without an immortal). He's also SO smart he is part of the titans coaching selection panel (smart club they are), was the Rabbitohs forwards coach in their prime years in the mid 2000's, and is often asked for intellectual comments on such wise-minded to shows such as the matty johns show....Now that Tallis agrees with me I'd like to apologize for being wrong. I actually legitimately feel sorry for Tallis. I passionately hated a teacher with a passion for failing me once (it changed the path of my life in this context and was an unfair fail so I was fuming). But one day, a few years later, I got over it and I laugh about it now. Tallis geninuely hates Bennett the way I did that teacher but he doesn't seem to have the intellect to see it's hurting no one but himself. In his mind it seems as though he thinks he's "winning". Imagine carrying that type of hatred for someone for the rest of your life when he is repeatedly successful in your area of passion and you have to talk about him constantly because of it, plus you can't hide from the fact he helped create your own success and is the boss at the only work place you ever truly loved
Except when he would freakishly return it and score, but that's hardly something you can rely on to be consistent. Maybe he would have benefited from a few more years at FB, ala Locky, but the team needed him at 5/8, so that's where he is. In my opinion, he was the best 5/8 in 2015 and some of 2016. I don't think he's gone backwards at all like some do, but he has plateaued a little. Some to do with his attitude off field, some to do with the drama the club has endured the last two years.
In 2015 he was always following Blair and whoever else got through the advantage line looking for that offload. Most of the time he would take the offload running at speed rather than just picking up scraps at a stand still like he does nowadays. It's been said to death but yeah he needs a halves coach like Walters to mentor him on a weekly basis because at the moment you're right, he isn't improving but definitely has the capacity to.
Milford has more to offer than just a running game, just like there's more to the fullback position that doesn't suit Milford's style of play.
