Great bowling yesterday. He’s the type of bowler England really should be fine with but they kept knicking off.

Been a terrible start to his summer so yesterday was good to watch.

So looking ahead to next test, looks like Warner and Hazlewood are in doubt. Harris shouldn’t be there either , I’d prefer to go with a No match at all Pucs instead, Harris is just that bad.

If Warner and Hazlewood are gone, I’d go:

3. Labushagne
4. Smith
5. Green
6. Head
7. Carey
8. Starc
9. Richardson
10. Cummins (c)

I reckon Warner will play. But if the team actually want to support the form of Street and Hunt one of them should be replacing Harris. Harris has never batted well and has probably been the poorest fielder this game.

Bruised Ribs. Not broken or fractured so give him till Thursday and he will be right. Would be good to have him considering he practically got a ton.

They’re nearly 400 in front on day three. They needed quick runs not a stoic 100 off 400 balls.

Carey has been sensational. Great debut. Tidy and professional.

This score line shouldn’t surprise anyone.. apart from Adelaide this time last year, Australia has laboured big time with the ball in the second innings of Test matches over recent years.. even in tests we’ve won, we’ve taken a long time to get the job done.. As good as our bowling attack can be, they definitely have problems getting 10 wickets in the second innings..

Imo Starc & Lyon are a big reason for our struggles.. as good as Lyon has been, the one thing he hasn’t delivered is big hauls on the 4th & 5th days of tests when conditions and the situation of the match suggests he should.. Starc’s lack of control has so often seen him become a passenger and heaped the load on Cummins & Hazlewood
