Ashes Discussion

Could knowing his last injury was from workload be hampering him mentally? As in self-preservation and falling into bad habits you've mentioned of bowling too many different deliveries instead of long consistency

He looked rusty on the weekend. Falling away to the side and then just dog tired.

Then trying too hard with variety.

His best bowling is simple.

Would you mind saying who you are talking about when making a post with no quotes? It’s often hard to know who you are referring to. Like with this post, are you referring to Starc, Lyon, Swepson or someone else? All of these people have been discussed on this page alone.

He asked about Swepson and I answered and I did quote him.

You didn't quote anyone, and the post directly beforehand was talking about Lyon. So yeah, it was a little confusing, I certainly thought you were talking about Lyon.

I did quote Allo and answered his question.

Yeah, it looks like it might be an issue on our end. Very strange, we can't see anything that Allo has posted.

Apologies for doubting you :P

So if he doesn't get man of the match, it's not a crucial wicket?

How do you know who the candidates were?

I look forward to another one of your responses, they just make you look like more of a fool.
Don't stress, I'm over it.

I have been consistent with not rating him and I'm clearly not the only one in here who has that opinion. I have presented stats and arguments to back myself up and yet you just resort to insulting me for not sharing your point of view rather than having a rational conversation.

Right now he's averaging 28 for the series. Lets pick this chat up after the 5th test.

**** golden boy blue eyes could be out this test. Yikes. Be interesting to see how Starc, Neser, Richardson, Green and Lyon. Not good for the outset of the test series where we will probably let them get one back on us.

Upside will be Neser getting a run so we'll see if he's up to scratch at Test level.
As much as I’m disappointed I’m so happy for Michael. That dude has been treated like shit for years now at that selection table and he finally has something to show for his relentless hard work and success domestically over the past few years.

Cummins officially out. Nesser will debut
The attack looks pretty fragile now. Starc will need to step up and lead the way now.

He will but this is what we need to see. I don’t mind it to be fair Neser and Richardson are great Sean and swing bowlers respectively. They will be very good with the pink nut. We are in the best hands possible when it comes to back up bowlers in my opinion. They both make a lot of test teams in the world and those they don’t they would be playing a shit ton of a lot more games for them then us. They’ll do us proud and if we can manage a comfortable win under them England will just fold for the rest of the series. No excuses, the pressure is all on them here we are up 1-0 and they have everything to play for against a significantly weakened bowling lineup

we've certainly lacked Sean bowlers.
