That's a great ball to get Konstas but also the reason he isn't ready to be opener in tests yet, leaving that is a huge mistake. Great ball though.
 
I said it before he just has no chance of finding success at test level just yet. He is not ready. Teague Wyllie had a similar start to his shield career and fell of the face of the earth. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a promising career still but he has to work his way back into contention. I hope for Sam he doesn’t regress that much but it’s clear he just isn’t at a level to be in considerations respectfully. For mine it seems Inglis and McSweeney are just about the only 2 batters who have the quality to be even remotely successful at test level.
 
Bancrofts nail in the coffin I’d say that’s his rep career done and dusted.

36 keeps Harris in the conversation of McSweeney falls cheaply here but thank ****. Don’t need to give the selectors an invitation to select him cause they will fucking take it. You’d swear he has blackmail against them.
 
McSweeney lucky with that LBW call but if anyone has earned some luck it's him.
 
You would assume that opening spot is McSweeney’s to lose now.

It was always coming in . I watched it multiple times in Slo Mo trying to work out WTF he thought he was doing ? Did think it was gonna bounce over the stumps ? Cause it was aimed right at off stump . Konstas made a bad error of judgement IMO .
 
88*. You would have to say the debate is wraps. Up to the selectors not to be fucking morons now. So I fully expect to see Marcus Harris out there ball 1 of the summer

It has but they are in a similar bit to Australia. They have a couple of legends who are really looking past it but they just can’t say goodbye to yet in Sharma, Kohli and Ashwin. It’s causing their batting to look really brittle.

That said, they have Jaiswal, Jadeja and Pant, Australia has nothing to match those three.
