That ball McSweeney got was brutal. Stayed low and sucked in.
Yep Marnus is looking like a walking wicket at the moment... he cannot handle pace at all anymore. It seems crazy but I’m dropping Marnus and putting McSweeney at 3 and opening Inglis.
Did I hear Shami is coming over soon too just in time for Adelaide lol. The bloke that swings the ball both ways the best in the world for a pink ball test. Talk about embarrassment of riches. Fucking Jadeja and Ashwin can't even get a game. They would be 2 of out better batsman and they are bowlers lol
What's the odds for 5-0? I assume Australia will win one of the dead rubbers.
And maybe Gil who is another young gun opener/1st drop too who would have been there if he didn't get hurt. Paddikal and the other young fella who were the only ones that "failed" and Rahul back into the middle order. Jesus.Yep and Sharma their captain back next test too.
Sharma
Jaiswal
Gil
Kohli
Rahul
Pant
Sundar
Reddy
Rana
Bumrah
Shami
Siraj, Jadeja, Ashwin carrying gatorade. How did this team lose to NZ at home. They must have been trolling. Worst thing is Kohli is now back in form after being trash for a number of tests.

This is the thing. India always seem to move on at the right time. Pujara, Dhawan and Rahane for instance from that dominant team. Maybe their young guys are a whole lot better but we never give any younger guys a go. Warner had to retire for him to not be in the team. This team has not exactly been killing it for years. The West Indies loss should have been a beacon for change. That team wouldn't have beat some club cricket teams. They have to do something different but it doesn't help when the next level down, they are debuting 27 / 28 year olds and not some of those under 19 winning players. Why isn't Dixon playing for Vic? Why isn't Weibgen playing for Qld?
Now some of them might be injured but at least Tassie gave Radhakrishnan (who bowls both hands by the way). Get these kids in there.
I think Marsh also needs to be dropped and one of the pace bowlers, preferably Cummins but he's captain, so it isn't going to happen. Cummins also over bowls himself. There are some big, big issues and as Vaughn said, the current team is too comfortable, no one feels pressure to keep their spot.
Contrast that to India who played some rookies and now the others are going to find it hard to get back in, that fosters a stronger team.
He has just had a bad patch. He has done it many times with games on the line. Especially over here.Kohli probably gets found out a bit when the game is on the line, it was perfectly poised for him today and to his credit, he scored 100.

Maybe if they moved earlier they would be in a better position. You are meant to play young guys against worse teams so they get their confidence. Feel sorry for McSweeney. Straight in the deep end.
It isn't rocket science mate, even for someone as limited as you.
Get the blokes playing more FC matches in the lead in and actual, you know, tests.
Cummins last four day + outing was early March - 8 months ago. Hazlewood played 3 first class games in the last 12 months. Starc and Hazlewood have played one FC game since NZ. The batting line up have all performed extremely poorly for the last 2 years (haven't played tests since March).
They are not ready. India played two A games in the lead in plus an intra game, on the back of tests against NZ which, ironically, they were smashed because they were underprepared for that because they were focusing on this series but at least they were playing tests.
Australia came in underdone and underprepared, its embarrassing that this needs to be explained to you.

Credit to Australia for letting Labuschagne bowl absolute pies so he can get back into form. Sound strategy.
I explained to you what went down .
You are just too much into your own opinions to consider others .
P.S Ronnie ! lol .
