Why do the selectors have hard ons for shit all rounders who are in a brief period of form? I thought we were done after Mitch Marsh, now we have the media crowing on about Abbott...
EDIT: I reckon India are favourites to win the first test if Burns is at the top and Green isn't in the team somewhere. Aus will win the series when the right selections are made, and Kohli has gone back to India, after an Adelaide loss.
I mean, Abbott is OK if we're playing on a flat track and Starc or someone is being 'rotated' or is injured, but otherwise Green should be in the team. Another thing to consider is that once a player like Abbott has made the team he's like to stay there for 20+ tests (look at Marsh).

Goodness, they've totally nailed it and very happy Abbott is in there too, he has an excellent season so far.
