Yeh but he bowled on a minefield and the Aussies still lost the match.. It would be great if we had a spinner but we don;t so we should play to our strengths. Have a deeper batting line up and rely on the quicks. Watson could be dangerous with the ball in India also..

They flew in Cameron White to replace Bryce McGain. I really do not rate White at all as a spinner. I would fair dinkum be giving Chris Simpson or Nathan Hauritz a go before him.

White is over there due to his good all round cricket skill.. He also has huge potential with his bowling and this is why he has been given the chance. Simpson and Hauritz are one day spinners nothing more IMO. The selection of White shows us how poor our spinning's stocks are. I would have thrown Dan Cullen in the deep end and said have a crack..

Yeh I'd have given Cullen a go as well. But White is a good replacement considering our spinning department resembles a meat pie factory at the moment. Should nickname them 4&20.

Simpson has potential but he struggles massively with the bat. He averaged like 10 with the bat in the ING cup last season, which is nothing short of a disgrace. Hauritz is the same as Krejza, struggles to get a game for his state yet could be our spinner. I dont think it would be such a bad choice though, he played well last season.

White is a good enough selection, we will need all the batsman we can get and then back the quicks to defend the runs

Any other country and I would mark it as simply stirring the pot, but its a different story with these morons. They're a stain on the game. As unlikely as it seems, I really hope our boys can get up in this series or at least prevent an outright victory to India.

Meh, sportsmanship in that whole series was a joke from both teams really, Indians in the subcontinent have been getting favourable decisions from crap local umpires for years, and as far as the Sydney test goes, well, Clarke had no integrity left after that match.

Exactly right! I think the Indians need to take a look at themselves in the mirror before they criticise anyone else.

India is a spinners paradise. The quicks will not have as much movement and bounce as they are used to, so it will come down to line and length, and frustrating the Indian batsmen into playing a stupid shot. I am definitely worried about Kumble and Singh tearing us up. Look what Chawla and Ojha did in the warm up match, then compare that to Krejza. Australia's spinning stocks are dwindling and I wouldn't put White among the top 3 spinners in the country at the moment. His all round cricket ability is good, but what's the point? I actually rate Michael Clarke a better spinner than White...haha.

Honestly, the best bet is to go all out on sledging in the aim of making guys like Harby crack and do something totally stupid, like slap someone. The key though is to make sure no matter what you don't react to the retaliation.
