Actually **** it. It wasn’t an agenda when I was pointing out that every thread was turning into the same topic. It was the fucking truth. And nothing was done about it for a few years. If there weren’t different rules for different people it would have been stopped a long time ago, not weeks ago.

What’s there to say about Boyd today that hasn’t been said already? This place has been a friggin echo chamber for months. We get it, he’s done (does anyone actually not think this?) and your opinions are all very original. Please tell us again what you think about Boyd.

To talk about the Broncos and rugby league and hear other people’s opinions. Notice the use of plural there. I am not here to whinge about the same player constantly like some of you are. BHQ used to have a sense of community and was held in high regard as far as sports forums went. As it turns out, I still spend my time whinging about people whinging because some people have Boyd living rent free in their head constantly. It was a much better place when the block function worked properly.

Whilst the "agenda" issue has been raised again, can it just be noted that an opinion and an agenda are different things.

I don't think I have an agenda, but I do have an opinion, which is, that Boyd like every other player in the squad is welcome to challenge for a position in the 17. No one should be guaranteed a position, it should come down to an assessment of their pre-season training effort and their trial form. If that is good enough to warrant them being in the side, more power to them. Once picked, it is up to each individual to maintain form and not make mistakes. If they can't do that, they should be dropped (no matter who they are).

I mean seriously, try and keep up; it’s absolutely not OK to talk about Boyd’s contentious position in the team in a thread about Boyd no longer being in the team.

I don't think I have an agenda, but I do have an opinion, which is, that Boyd like every other player in the squad is welcome to challenge for a position in the 17. No one should be guaranteed a position, it should come down to an assessment of their pre-season training effort and their trial form. I share this opinion but I do notice people trotting out the same tired and unoriginal prattle about Boyd. Even when a thread was about their newborn the stupid just couldn't resist having yet another chop.

The only thing I don't agree with most on here is about Boyd being done. I'm not saying he isn't but I am saying I don't know it for certain. He's earned the right for one last shot and I'm 100% behind him on that. I truly wish him the very best and hope he reaches ever deeper into his resolve. If he nails it, we all win.

You constantly talk about "how terrible BHQ has become" because of people repeating the same opinions about the same players.. What I don't understand is how you're constantly infuriated that a Rugby League community has come to a general consensus & share similar thoughts on certain players..

What exactly do you expect from people on here? Every single member to have uniquely individual and widely varying thoughts on Darius Boyd? I genuinely don't understand your issue, it happens on every sporting forum in the entire world. Every team and fan base has players they unequivocally hate on at any chance they get. For the Broncos, 3-4 years ago it was Hunt, the last couple of years it's been Boyd & McCullough. In a couple of years time it'll be someone else.

I think I speak for most people on here when I say the only thing that's making BHQ less enjoyable in recent times is your shit attitude. Seriously, since you came back from your break a few months ago nearly all of your posts have been whinging to some degree. You've always been divisive, but now you're just being toxic.

Seriously though, as a leader (potentially) and a presence on the field at wing, I do think he ‘could’ offer something pretty special, but he’d need to embrace the challenge.

He's going to get minced with the new jumping rule. Seems like a waste. What can he provide at wing? He can sometimes set up something for others, but his days as a finisher are well and truly done.

It can also be pretty hard to provide leadership or presence from the wing.

I don't think ALL of his posts are bad or a whinge and I believe Cult is partially correct. I was here for Hunts **** up, I read many posts berating him, hell I gave it to him too. That said the abuse on this forum concerning Boyd went above and beyond that handed out concerning Hunt. I agree that scapegoating and anger has always happened on here but some of the Boyd stuff was over the top, constant and worst of all CONDONED. Statements like:
I don't think I've ever hated any player as much as I hate Boyd. ( quite a few times )
I hope Boyd breaks his leg, blows out a knee etc etc. Variations of that theme.
Condoned. Plain unfiltered hate. Condoned. Due to that tolerance it became the norm on here. Cult is right...at least partially and some of his comments have merit.

Condoned by whom? I recall any time someone posts something insensitive like wishing injury on a player, there's always multiple people on here telling them to pull their head in, and rightfully so. I have never seen anyone condone ridiculous posts like that on here before.
